Welcome to our second Chuck Me Monday! This week we’re watching episode 1.02, “Chuck vs. the Helicopter.” Ah, the first “who can Chuck trust?” episode. Is this the week to kick of the “trust me” drinking game? It’s definitely time to kick off our random giveaways! See below for contest details. Here’s the official synopsis for this episode:
WHO TO BELIEVE? –As Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi) continues to come to grips with his newly adopted life as a spy, tension builds between his recently appointed partners Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski) and John Casey (Adam Baldwin). When a doctor who seems to have a solution to Chuck’s problem is killed, Casey and Walker turn the blame at one another. Both agents persistently try to convince Chuck that the other one is responsible and now it is up to Chuck to decide which one to trust. Who will he choose?

Favorite scene is far and away the opening. It’s quintessentially Casey
Chuck: So in this plan I basically do nothing?

When I first watched this episode it was a never-ending laugh riot. The souffle, the Chuck vs. Casey chase, and ultimately Chuck stuck inside an out-of-control helicopter. Recounting it like this makes the show seem dreadfully over-the-top, but it was funny.
Reviewing, though, what impressed me most is how quickly these characters established a repor between each other–even if it was one of distrust. That rarely happens in new TV shows.
Fight between Casey & Sarah very nice way to show agent Walker can more than hold her own. Love the music when Chuck drowns her souffle. Classic ” Make-up sex”
After watching this episode, we can really see how Chuck’s attitude towards working at the Buy More has really changed over the two years. He actually was thinking about moving up the ladder at the Buy More in this episode and seemed to be taking his job very seriously. Case in point, explaining to Casey how to scan merchandise and chasing him down in the parking lot when he was going to “take out” a shoplifter. =0)))
Chuck’s life seemed to be very simple at this point. It is fun to watch these older episodes again to realize all the changes that have occurred in Chuck’s life.
Once again, how can people not love this show????
Okay. I didn’t know about the first ChuckMeMonday on June 1 and I had to work for this one on June 8. I watched the shows; but, missed the timeslot. I am off work on June 15, so I will be twitterin’ when I watch Chuck vs the Tango. See ya then.

Am I the only one who noticed that this is one of the only episodes where Casey actually uses both Chuck and Sarah’s first names?
Wow…In all honestly, I completely forgot how different everything was in the beginning of the series in terms of dynamics between Team Bartowski. It’s interesting to see it happen all over again…

I just finished watching Chuck vs the Helicopter. Sara I noticed started making flirtatious eyes at him. They had their first fight and Chuck started his precedent of not staying in the car and saving their lives. It maybe that the fight scenes except for the season 2 finale is either Casey Sara or both; Chuck has the dubious ability to really be the one who saves everyone. When you think about it Chuck is really the person who is kicking the enemy. Whether it is by flashing or not listening and getting out of the car. In any event this episode shows how Sara begins to connect with Chuck.
Favorite line in an episode full of perfect lines: Morgan “Oh whoa… Little too soon to see the Tron poster don’t you think? Not exactly a natural aphrodisiac.†(beat and a scowl from Ellie) “Dinner perfect I’ll clear my schedule.â€
Favorite scene: Dinner with the family in all its glorious spy subtext, scowls, awkward silences, and of course the soufflé.
Favorite song: Actually the music that I loved the most is just the soundtrack that goes from silly upbeat to serious are they going to make it music. Of course the lyrics are great and I’ve got them now all on my iTunes now, but my vote is for the shows original music.
Favorite random I forgot why I love this show so much moment: Chuck all aggressive and yelling at Casey “Are you out of your mind?!†Then immediately running to the other side of the car for protection while stuttering “what, what, what happened to you?â€

I totally miss the epi recaps in the beginning, “so here’s the story so far…” course week after week that does get old… lol But I just love hearing Zac narrate. I created a chuck twitter if anyone wants to follow. I moved my other one, now I am www.twitter.com/chuckitmonday Can’t wait till next week, and also for S2 I hope there are rad extras like on S1. Yvonne also has finished the round in tv.com’s hottest blond poll with almost half a million votes and 97%. That is over 100000 more votes than all of the others in the round had combined.
With respect to the E! polls, here is something I did the other night during the hockey game.
I have a laptop and a wireless router. So I had my laptop down in the living room and everytime there was a pause in the game I cast votes for Chuck as funnyguy. I know I wasn’t the only one voting that night, but Chuck went from being 10percent behind to having a slight lead by the end of the game.
So challenge all you Chuck/ hockey fans with laptops do the same for the final game tomorrow night. Its a great way to kill time during the commercials.
We can alternate between funnyguy and best guest star as those are the two polls that need the most work.
I noticed that they got rid of the need to type in a keyword with every vote, which should speed things up.
Yeah, it says on zachary levi dot net that they’re not going to do it anymore??? I am a bit confused.

Regarding Chuckme numbers,
I saw twitter numbers after hunting for a while, but was there any numbers from WB on online hits?
I will let others do the twittering, sorry I’m a bit of a ludite when it comes to this stuff. I don’t mind message boards, but just can’t seem to limit myself to 140 characters at a time.
Plus, I only use my cellphone to talk to people and never text. If I want to send messages, I will email from my desktop or laptop. At least with computers you have a full size keyboard.
