It’s not actually Halloween, but do we really care? Chuck continues what will be a tradition of giving the male AND female viewers a healthy dose of eye candy alongside a potent storyline. This week, Chuck sees what could be his future when he meets another nerd-turned-government-asset who wants out. Is Chuck destined for the same fate? Here’s the official synopsis:
HALLOWEEN – Chuck (Zachary Levi) accidentally runs into a fellow government agent who seems to be living a similar life. It turns out this agent is a gadget whiz, whose brain makes him a national security asset and a dangerous liability, much like Chuck. Chuck faces a predicament whether he should help turn this agent into Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) and Casey (Adam Baldwin) or help this agent escape his handlers. Meanwhile, Halloween, a holiday that means a lot to Chuck and Morgan (Joshua Gomez) as buddies, proves to be a little different this year as Morgan feels that Chuck is neglecting both their childhood and friendship.

The Comic Con picture of Chuck and Sarah is priceless! A great ep all around.
Best part when Sarah says they’re a real couple. Funny part when Casey reveals what he has heard. Monday is Subway footlong nite. Boy, March is so far away.
I hope there will be some real couple episodes in season 3 for Chuck and Sara.

I watched Dune about 2 weeks ago for the first time. This episode reminded me of it. Of course, I only watched it because of Chuck. 🙂

One of the questions that popped into my head after watching this episode for the umpteenth time, if the sandworm costume was so important, why did it take Morgan almost a year to take it to the dry cleaners to get the ranch dressing out?
Chuck vs. the sandworm is one of my favs. i always like when they bring in new careactors, even if they don’t stay it always give us a deeper look into one or more of the careactors.
i love this eposode it is really cool. “Do you Want to see my snake”?

One of the best episodes of the first season, at least in my opinion! =)
Also, before this, the song “Dice” kind of annoyed me when I had to listen to it, but now I even enjoy it, ’cause it always makes me grin when I think about that Chuck&Morgan moment! ^.^
I think this is one of my favorite episodes of the early half of the first season. The fun had with the costumes, and the hilarity involving Morgan cannot be denied. =)
Speaking of science fiction movies (the Sandworm was from Dune and Sarah as Princess Leah), I watched Independence Day over the weekend. I had forgotten that Adam Baldwin played Major Mitchell in that movie.
Princess Leia…
Sarah totally rocks the Princess Leia slave bikini! Sandworm! Sandworm! Sandworm! The funniest part has got to be when Casey listens in on Chuck and Morgan argueing about what kind of sandwhich they would take on a desert island. Haha!
How can you not love Yvonne Strahovski in a Princess Leia costume?

Favorite part is the scene between Morgan and Chuck, at the Halloween Party that mimics the a scene on the OC.

I love that the show make references to other Sci-Fi films and other pop culture mainstays. Strahovski in the Leia costume is frankly the only one who should wear the costume ever. You have to love references to Dune, Tron, and how they even parody “The OC” during the Chuck and Morgan reunion.

I was over on the Chuck message boards at NBC, and we were talking about a marathon of S1 and S2 episodes the few weekends before Chuck S3 starts.
Unless there is an early start to the season, the Olympics will be on at the same time.
So how about taking the Chuck Me Mondays into high gear just before S3 and have the Chuck Me Marathon. Imagine two all weekend virtual viewing parties.
Hey I am probably going to spend those two weekends going through the S1 and S2 DVD sets anyways. The only winter olynpics sport I am into is Hockey, so should have most of those weekends free.

Just watched Chuck vs the Colonel the other night. Amazing how far the characters have come in just two seasons. Such a difference in Morgan between his “bringing Chuck down” in Chuck vs the Sandworm, and being Emmett’s “A#$ Man” in Chuck vs the Colonel (one of the best nicknames in the show BTW). Can’t wait to see what they do w/S3!
On the NBC Chuck message boards somebody mentioned that the S2 DVD/Blue Ray sets will be out some time in August. Hopefully in time for me to continue with Chuckme Mondays – as a Canadian I don’t get the on-line episodes at least not without using adware that gives me a US IP address but tons of ads poppling up.
Gord – I hope your info is right about the DVD release! In the UK, we are well behind on the episodes, but I am soooo glad they renewed.

Favorite line – Casey: I’m starting to feel like the guy who always gets picked last and I don’t like feeling like Team Chuck’s little fat kid.
