Has Comic Con fever gripped you yet? It’s less than 2 weeks away, Chucksters! Soon, the geeks shall inherit the earth! In other news, we’re finalizing our plans and double-checking that we have enough batteries for all our gear, because we plan to bring you so much Chuck goodness you’ll be begging for mercy. Although some of you will be begging for more. You know who you are, DYLAN. And SYDNEY. And PREZOFBUYMORIA.
But seriously, this year Warner Bros. invited us to cover the press room, in addition to the panel, so we will be snagging face-to-face interviews with the Chuck gang just for you guys. We’re trying to come up with interesting questions, since they will not have begun filming season 3 yet. I don’t suppose you all are interested in what they ate for breakfast? Or which Teletubby they most identify with? If you have suggestions for questions, please help us out and leave a comment below.
We are also planning a fan soiree for one evening, but are waffling about which evening. Thursday might be too early for most Chuck fans, especially if they’re only coming to town for the panel. Friday could work since most Chuck fans will probably be in town, although part of our entourage won’t have arrived yet. Saturday is probably best for the number of people who will be in town, but Liz & I will be exhausted and it would mean a delay in posting reports and videos. If you’re planning to attend, please email me with your preference ASAP.

Because they probably wont say too much about S3, my first question is related to all the great music they have in the show – have they thought of releasing a CD or CD’s of the best of Chuck music?
Also, what are the chances of an earlier start to the Chuck season?
Anyone know if the Chuck signing is going to be a ticketed event or not, and if so, when/where will the tickets be distributed?

If the signing is anything like last year, I believe it’s going to be first come first serve. It gets crazy though– so plan ahead.
Is there any possibility of Orion coming back at least once in S3?
It the show going to stay set firmly in Burbank, or is the world of Chuck going to extend beyond California? It would be entertaining to see Chuck drive the bureaucracy at Langley and Fort Meade crazy.
My question is will they allow Chuck and Sarah to develop a normal relationship?
I get that they wanted to keep Charah apart for two full seasons but making up obscure reasons to seperate them in an unnatural manner is starting to seem a little contrived.

For the new skill sets that the new intersect offers to Chuck, will singing be one of them, for a mission in Season 3? Maybe as a diversion in a restaurant during a mission where he would have to be the entertainment or with Jeffster? It would be great a great scene to see the surprised looks on Sarah and Casey’s faces. They’ve already showcased Yvonne’s dancing skills on Chuck vs. the Break Up so why not Zac’s singing ability? It would be really cool.
Iwould like to hear if thay can enjoy whatching movies without analyze the actors preformants ant think “Ohh, I would do that som much better”.

Will Morgan have more storylines with Ellie and Awesome this season? I’ve been watching reruns of Chuck, and I have to say Morgan is always at his funniest when Ellie or Devon are involved. (I’d love to see the flashback mentioned in which Morgan sang ‘Glory of Love’ by Peter Cetera to Ellie.)
Nothing against Jeff and Lester…Jeffster is great, but Morgan is much more ‘awesows’ around Chuck, Ellie and Devon.
Now that Devon knows Chuck is “a spy”, can he keep his mouth shut to Ellie? Of course, if Ellie knows, she will be worried all the time. Morgan will pick up on Ellie’s worry, and the whole thing will spiral out of control.
How does Adam Baldwin’s wife feel about Casey getting a new love interest next season?
Will we learn Sarah Walker’s real name in season 3? Will we learn what happened to Chuck’s mother? Can you integrate Lester more into the spy stuff–e.g., “Chuck vs the Predator”?
Who’s the second person to find out Chuck running around as a “spy” now? What will be of Chara’s relationship in S3? Will someone be changing Chuck’s hair (those sideburns and flip in the back have got to go)?
Yahooo? Has it been reported/spoiled that Casey will get a love interest this season? I musta missed that. Only vague teasing from Josh Schwartz that there could be a love triangle. And I’m going to guess that AB’s wife is happy her actor hubby has a steady paying gig. Also, Casey is a fictional character.
I would like to suggest to the writers that they do a spoof on Zoolander, and go undercover at a fashion show, where Chuck’s new powers transform suddenly him into a male model, complete with his own sure to be hilarious take on “Blue Steel.” Could you imagine?! HILARITY!!
I hate to ask what is probably a stupid question, but are there ever any web feeds of the panel discussions at ComiCon? I’m 2500 miles away so a quick side trip is out of the question. After getting promoted last January I’ve had exactly ZERO vacation time and the only saving grace to working 60 HR weeks is that after everyone else leaves at 4:30 I’m left sitting alone in my room full of computers until I decide to go. We’ve got a solid T3 here at work so real-time video is no problem. Anyone know?

I heard (read?) somewhere that Yvonne has a little dog. If so, what’s its name, what kind of dog is it, and what did she do with him/her while she was in Australia?
For all of the actors: Desert Island. which 3 DVDs would they bring if they were the only ones they would watch for the rest of their lives. Also, which CDs and/or books?

Scott will be at a Comic Con in London the week before SD, and at the Hollywood Bowl the weekend after SD. And he’s doing a 10 ep, Ray Romano series for TNT (Dec 9 premiere). That’s all I know. Perhaps he’ll be free… (hope, hope)

In episode 14, when Sarah and Casey think he was blown up in the Nerd Herder, Casey seemed shocked and sad. Is it possible that Casey actually cares and secretly loves chuck?
Can someone ask Yvonne if she’d like to return Zac’s favor of imitating her last comic con by doing a Zac imitation?

Interesting that the Buy More gang is going to be featured in the panel also. That’s going to be one long table. Don’t know if that’s going to good since the more people, the more diluted the discussion gets. Big panels are never well organized for information.

will sarah’s father be back in season 3?

In the second part of season 2 we didn’t see much of julia ling, why?
We know that Devon has some brothers, are we gonna see them? why weren’t they at the wedding?
In season 1 (in the pilot episode), was it yvonne who made the stunt where her character (the ninja) try to stole chuck’s computer?
Will we see Chuck and Sarah’s relationship move forward in S3 or will it be the same as S1&2? Any more performances from Jeffster in S3?

After hearing the hilarious description of Zac devouring a Philly cheesesteak between takes of Chuck & Sarah’s first kiss, I’m wondering what it is like for the cast filming the make-out scenes on the show. Is it a one-shot deal typically with the actors just doing what comes naturally, or is it more choreographed/directed involving multiple takes? Any funny/embarrassing moments during shooting?

I believe the last (and only?) time it was just Sarah and Ellie in a scene together was Chuck vs. Tom Sawyer. It would be nice if the writers showed a few more glimpses of their friendship.

Why not suggest to the panel to work with NBC and do some Chuck/Subway commercials. Have Yvonne dressed up in some awesome uniform and have Zachary buy the sub of the week from her. It will please Subway, NBC, and our hungry fans for more Chuck and more Subway. Plus, new viewers might think to themselves…”I like Subway and attractive women/men, this show might be pretty good.” It is very specific, but I’m sure you can add some details and pitch it to them. I am thinking it would be nice if Subway and Chuck did a combined set of commercials for the Olympics. It would be great exposure for both subway and chuck and two times the money means more exposure for both. The one question I would like to ask the panel is for Yvonne and that is to ask did she think that it was ironic that her cell phone died when she was in Australia (just like it did in S01E01). Should have had an IPHONE like Chuck 🙂
