What We’re Doing

After hearing all the Comic Con buzz and not being able to be there (due to that big blue thing that’s always in the way… I think it’s called ‘ocean’) I’m really looking forward to today’s CMM! =)
Also, it’s a double happy day for me, it’s CMM and I passed the driving test today & got my license! =D
From the day Chuck Me Mondays started, this was one of the episodes I wished I could join in on. Such a bummer I have school. 🙁 I think I’ll watch it tonight before I going to bed.
This episode brought one of THE best first kisses on television. Pretty much the whole thing was awesome. I’m so disappointed I won’t be able to participate. (Unless it rains tomorrow and classes get suspended. Hahaha.)
Due to summer trips and all that stuff, I’ve been missing the latest Chuck Me Mondays, but tonight, I have to be here!! Like Bea says, it brings one the best first kisses on television. Sure, we had to wait looong time before they kissed without bombs or spies, just because they wanted to, but this kiss on “vs. the Hard Salami” was a GREAT way of making the wait easier.
About Comic Con, I so wish I could have been there. But yeah, there was an ocean in between, so, it was difficult, lol. Maybe next time?
One thing is for sure: reading the news about the Chuck panel, watching the videos, etc… I can’t wait for S3!!

Fun! NGL I’m a new chuck fan. This is my first chuckmemonday I will be participating in. I actually found out about chuck from the trending topics on twitter on monday. I watched a few episodes and then was hooked and watched all the episodes in 3 days.
I’d now like to help out to gain new chuck fans.
One of my favourite bits in this episode is Chuck’s guitar microphone.
“Cool pin. I’d wear mine but I left it in the 80s!”
“Haha…. I kept mine.”
There’s a lot of great stuff in this episode apart from the bomb kiss…. but hey, that’s good too. Ah, it’s all so good! Looking forward to a rewatch!

There is so much to love about this episode. Sarah’s all too real feelings during their public break-up, her jealousy about Lou, Chuck doing a particularly bad job of hiding his spy activities from Lou, and, of course, that scene at the end, which was MIND-BLOWINGLY AWESOME. mmmm.
Definitely a good episode. Very excited to watch tonight! Love when Lester goes over to the Weinerlicious; and of course Chuck and Sarah.
Lester+Sarah=LOLZ! Poor Lester. Didn’t stand a chance. 😉

Lester vs Sarah is hilarious. The Lou arc and subsequent fallout is one of my favorite parts of S1.

I watched this episode a couple days ago on DVD.
Probably my favorite episode of the 1st season. It had so many great moments.
This is definitely one of the best episodes of Chuck, especially with the first kiss – initiated by Sarah – right after she’d just told Chuck there was nothing more than the relationship being a cover last episode.
This is one of those episodes where there are just no best scenes. From the heartbreaking “breakup” conversation, to the Lester and Sarah moment at Wienerlicious, to being stored at the back of the car, to (of course) the kiss, and then Sarah seeing Bryce Larkin.
I absolutely adore this episode. I almost always forget about it when thinking about my favorite eps, but SO many good moments! Chuck in the sandwich shop trying to win Lou back, the Titanic-reference, MORGAN AND ANNA!!, Bryce at the end, and, of course, the kiss!! I recently got to watch this episode with my friend, who was going through the show for the first time, and she was so sure Sarah & Chuck wouldn’t kiss until way later. So I was grinning throughout that entire scene, and then BAM. She giggled 😀
I keep trying to follow along week by week with this, but I keep finding myself subsequently watching the entire season to it’s conclusion. The Lou storyline is one of my favorites from S1.
Finally convinced my brother to catch up to CMM pace. But he loved the show so much he went ahead and is just starting Season 2!
I remember first watching this ep and being shocked that Bryce was in that capsule!
I still think its sad while Chuck is dumping Lou because Sarah kissed him, she’s staring at and getting all emotional for MR. Larkin. (say it like Ted Roark in vs. the Ring)
Being that Sarah and Lester are my two favorite characters, I love, loved that Wienerlicious scene. And the countdown to the kiss is amazing.
Don’t care about Lou.
Have enjoyed watching the footage from Comic-Con that people have posted. Looking forward to when the whole panel is available to watch as one clip 🙂

I love this episode not only does it have great Chuck and Sarah moments, but the ending has one of the biggest surprises of season 1.
The kiss and the episode where the mythology is really set into motion. Really one of the best episodes from Season 1.

Chuck is the bomb.
Ugh, nothing beats the deli scene. Who knew sandwiches could be so hot? “This is a hot sandwich, sweetheart. In the Reuben family.”
This is definitely one of the best Season 1 episodes (and overall). My favorite scenes are of course that awesome first Charah kiss and Sarah seducing Lester at the Wienerlicious.
Casey’s “Yeah, because she got dumped.” teasing is great too 😀
Casey is the man in this episode. I hope the WB and NBC figure out what we can do when season 2 starts up for Chuckme Monday’s

vs the Hard Salami was an excellent episode. Good release for Chuck but not so good for Sarah. The Lester vs Sarah was a favorite part and the SEXY kiss at the end. I kept thinking that Rachel Bilson had a head cold but I never saw her in O.C. so maybe she always sounds that way.
Best part of this ep for me was watching Sarah react to the thought of Chuck being with someone else.
The dichotomy of what a “normal” girl could offer him, versus what she had and could.
A nice little play on how hard it is to live up to the old saying, “if you love someone, let them go”
Yes, I forgot how sauve Lester tried to be when he went in to the Wienerlicious to ask Sarah out only to be scared by how she came on to him. It was pretty how she jumped up on the counter and started running her foot up his leg. Poor Lester is pretending that Jeff is calling him to get away from her.

I was so bummed i couldn’t make it to comic con, or participate last week for CMM:( But I am uber excited for Vs. the imported hard salami!!! i love this episode, it’s one of the best, especially the ending<3
If you’re a salami lover, you have to like this episode. Damn Bryce! Hope he’s really ‘dead’ this time (vs. The Ring). Wanna bet he’ll reappear in S.3? Great episode.

I see that Mr. Silverman is out at NBC, according to latimes.com. Does anybody know what Jeff Gaspin’s take on Chuck is? Is there a possibility that we could see Chuck before March (YAY!) or could Mr. Gaspin come in and shut everything down (NO!)? Hopefully we can get some gossip one way or the other.

With Darth Razorback’s insistance, I have opened a twitter acount, so I can join you all there tonight. It will probably be the only thing I will use twitter for, but what the heck.
I plan on watching Truth again before the main event – you really have to watch those episodes together.
Of course the best part of the episode is the kiss the Chuck/Sarah kiss at the end. It is probably the hottest kiss ever put on TV. If Zach ever feels he needs a stunt double for the kissing scenes, I am willing to sacrifice myself for the cause. After all being forced to kiss Agent Walker wouldn’t be so bad, I think I could suffer through it.
“Chuck vs. the Hard Salami†is a great episode! I love Rachel Bilson and the fact that Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak can integrate actors from their previous show The O.C. is awesome! I can’t wait for the 3rd season and hope that it will come back in the fall. Can’t wait to see Katrina back either. Maybe as Sara’s sister??? SDCC 09!
I love all the Chuck episodes. In Chuck Vs the Imported Hard Salami, this is the first time we get to see Sarah get a little jealous when Lou comes in the picture. Chuck doesn’t know Sarah’s jealous. She jumps the gun alot in this episode not think about the mission before her feeling for Chuck. I like that Morgan get’s together with Anna.
I wish I could have been at Comic Con at least just for the Chuck panel. I also have an Ocean between me. Plus I had been lay-off 2 months ago because of our company be slow. So the money wasn’t there. I like that all the other fan represented and gave the Chuck panel a stand O. Thank you to everyone who shared what happen at Comic Con. The videos, blog, and the pictures are great.
Hopeful I can make it next year and be able to met the rest of the fans, the cast and crew of Chuck. The bag and poster looks amazing.

Anybody else having trouble w/ the latest release of Firefox (3.5.1) playing vids from theWB site? I can’t get anything to play on the Macs or PCs unless I use Safari or Explorer, respectively. Just updated all the machines at work and home to the newest Firefox last Saturday. Some of the ComiCon vids will play, others won’t, but I can’t get full episodes of anything to show up. I’ll use Safari to watch tonight, much as I hate it, ’cause I don’t want to be uncounted for the Monday streaming party.
I agree with most everyone else when saying that this was one of the best episodes of season 1. The scene with Lester and Sarah is absolutely terrific. Plus the final scene and the fallout leading into the following episode or two was great.
The Truth and Hard Salami are the 2 best episodes of season 1. Followed by my least favorite, Nemisis and Crown Vic. Bring on the angst.
I really do love this episode, one of the best from the first season. Awesome and I can’t to watch it tonight.
