We’re happy to announce that the first half of Chuck season 2 will be available at NBC.com and Hulu.com beginning at 12:01AM on Saturday, August 15. This lines up nicely with our Chuck Me Mondays schedule, and for that we thank The Powers That Be at NBC and Warner Bros.
UPDATED 08.18.09: NBC ran into some issues with releasing those episodes in a secure manner so had to push them back a bit. They assured us that they’re working on getting the up as quickly as possible.

The whole scene from 12:20-12:30 is brilliant. Chuck is on his first steak out and is, of course, in the car eating sizzling shrimp. Not only is he eating them, though, but he is also playing with them. Then he puts in his “stake out mix” and ends the scene with a “Stake outs are fun!”
Chuck Versus the Lethal Weapon
31:45 – Chuck flashes on “Orion” while Perseus is interrogating him and Perseus realizes that Chuck is the Intersect. I love the way that Zachary Levi and Robert Picardo interact in this scene, they really sell it.

12:30 – When Casey threatens to kill Chuck with a few things, including the radiator handcuffed to his wrist and Chuck says “You can’t kill me with that radiator. It is far too confined in this car for you to get the appropriate torque” makes me laugh every single time.

The Ellie & Awesome wedding/Sarah breaking up with Bryce/Roark getting shot randomly scene.
So this scene is awesome because a. Casey making wedding decisions by telling one of his men that a pink cloth “clashes with the buntane” b. Bryce spying on the wedding c. Sarah telling Bryce through his binoculars, that she’s not going with him (because she wants to stay with Chuck because she loves him!) d. The flashing between the wedding scene, and the Castle scene. e. Roark finally not able to bother Chuck anymore (sorry he got killed though, cause I’m not a fan of murder!) f. Ellie and Awesome getting married, at Ellie’s beautiful beach sunset wedding! g. The great use of “Christmas TV” by Slow Club, for the scene.
So basically, there are a lot of reasons why this is one of my several favorite scenes from Chuck vs. The Ring. When I first watched this when it aired back in April with my sisters and neighbors, this scene got a lot of “YES!” “AWESOME!” and “what the heck?!” out of us :).

I love this scene because of how Sarah goes against her job for Chuck… and doesn’t betray him like I thought she would at first. I love the awesome background music in this too. I love how Casey’s tranq gun clicks with the music as he looks on the security camera at Chuck and Sarah. I love how Sarah whispers to Chuck “take off your watch”, something she never would have said before, and takes him away. I love how in the car Chuck points out to Sarah that she is commiting treason for him, and that she could go to jail, and she just says “I know”, and drives on in her porsche. When I first saw this, I ended up hating Chuck vs. The First Kill, because I really thought Sarah would betray him like Beckman asked her to. But by the end of the scene (and the preview for Chuck vs. The Colonel!), I ended up loving “First Kill”.

I love this scene because of the way when Chuck invites Casey to Ellie’s rehearsal dinner, he slams the door on Chuck, making us believe that he was just gonna deny Chuck’s friendly efforts once again, but then dresses in like 2 seconds and then opens the door for Chuck and says “Open bar I hope”. That was pretty funny. Then, I love how as Sarah walks up looking beautiful (I love her blue dress, I want one!), both Chuck AND Casey can’t help but stare over at her, and then Casey leaves on purpose to “warm up the vic”, and FINALLY gives Chuck and Sarah some private time. Then, I love how when Chuck says “everything finally feels real”, Sarah tells him, “it is real”, basically making them official! And of course, the sweet arm rub… 🙂 I love Chuck and Sarah!

Okay, it’ 8:25 am Saturday August 15. Where are the first 11 episodes of season 2? The only thing they appear to have done was remove vs The Ex and vs The Fat Lady and replace them with vs The Best Friend and vs The Third Dimension. This looks like a PR screwup.

This hasn’t happened. There’s only 2 new episodes now. Why?
You can get all of Chuck season 2 to download at amazon for $35—-when you see the episodes back to back it makes you aware of some of the storylines you may have missed. It also opens up some questions that can be answered if they use flashbacks of some of the earlier season 2 episodes. I have ordered a regular and blu/ray set of dvds however, I did not want to wait that long. It took several hours for me to download all the episodes–I have Time Warner Road Runner.
Hey, NBC. Make the damn switch.

I guess the part where he was getting ready to be tortured and he freaks out is one of the best. I am sooo glad that Chuck did not get cancelled. I love the show.

When Sarah dresses up as a nerd herder with a killer skirt, I didn’t think it could get any better and then it did in 3D no less in Chuck vs the third dimension. I love the show.
I really enjoyed the First Date.Enjoyed the loving conversation at the Chinese restaurant–loved Chuck being dropped off the roof and being caught by Casey. Sarah’s fight on the roof was as good as I have seen. She is elevated above the villains head during some of her kicks–great villain & great episode.Chuck’s screams at the first of the episode and the expression on his face were among the best in the series-I also enjoyed Sarah telling him he should have stayed in the car–his response “It’s never safe in the car”. The only episode I do not look at repeatedly is the Beefcake–sor some reason I felt it was kind of an insult for Chuck to look like a fifth wheel and feel like he had to leave when Sarah and the Beefcake were together. I also do not look at the 3 Jill episodes—Sarah is the one I feel sorry for–
I like the relationship between Chuck and Sarah to be exclusive of third parties. Season 3 needs to get Sarah and Chuck together to do away with the ever growing “angst” factor so we can enjoy the comedy and adventure. Hopefully then we can get a season 4.

It’s funny how I already know my favorite moments for lots of these once I see the episode and remember what happens in it. This one is again right in the beginning…
1:12 – Sarah asking about Chuck liking her outfit is very sweet and gives her feelings away and then Chuck’s stunned stare when the Wieinerlicious supe opens the door and catches them going at it…AWESOME.
I saw someone say they liked Lou…I like her looks and she’s very nice and funny…So eliminate her! Haha. Go Sarah!

This one is a really good enjoyable episode but I didn’t LOVE any moments which seems weird…Anyway…
40:00 – Chuck asking for a date as the dramatic Bryce reveal is going on.
I just realized that this was the episode where Chuck and Sarah kissed. I don’t want to go back to the WB and stream it again for the time signature but would totally amend my favorite moment to be them kissing and I did love that. I had to step away from the screen for like 2 minutes and let it play without pausing and I must have gone right by the kiss. Bah!
