Oh Sugar Bear, we knew a softer side was lurking underneath all those grunts. Tonight we’re watching “Chuck vs. the Undercover Lover” where we meet Casey’s former lover and learn a little about his past. Ilsa’s unexpected return dredges up old memories for Casey and a chance for Chuck to encourage him to fight for his lost love. Oh, plus there are Russian arms dealers and Morgan comforting a drunken Ellie after she has a fight with Awesome.
What We’re Doing

Sugar Bear! Don’t you just love it? This is a great episode in that we learn quite a bit of Casey’s backstory. It’s also quite funny watching Chuck be such a nosy Parker! How many days until S3?

I like this episode doubly much, I guess! 🙂
I liked the episode, but I didn’t care for the “Chuck Sandwich” that this was marketed as.
Mel, do you have any info why NBC won’t be showing the start of season 2 online? Thanks!
Definately another excellent episode. It is nice to learn more about Casey and see that he does have a softer center, not a calm one, but still a little soft. We also see that things are not always smooth with the awesome couple. All in all, one of the good ones!
Never noticed this little gem before- guess that’s one of the reasons “Chuck” has such great re-watching value…
When Awesome is sitting in with the Buy More losers playing poker, Morgan turns to Lester and says:
“You in whitey?”
Classic.
This is actually not one of my favorite episodes, but I actually enjoyed it more than the first time! But like Eonwe said Chuck has such great re-watching value!! And Chuck sure did trend!!!! Yay!! I’m so glad I was part of it! :]
The new tweeter tag #Chuckmeout worked really good this time!
I enjoy almost all the Chuck episodes I just do not care for the Beefcake and the old girlfriend episodes–the rest are exceptional—a lot of the ones I do not care for are usually because I want Sarah and Chuck to get together permanently and I do not like anything that interferes with that. I am now addicted to season 2–on the other hand I will like Chuck even more when Sarah and Chuck hook up permanently–that will allow me to really enjoy the great comedy and adventures—Swartz and Fedak please do not screw that up!!!—that would cause me to jump off the bandwagon– I still have not decided if they are masterful at storyline and character development or just blundered into it–we will be able to tell for sure during season 3–Although I am waiting on my dvd’s I watch several episodes of season 2 from my Amazon downbox—all of season 2 cost me about $35 and is well worth the money. Took me many hours to download season 2 in its entirety—FYI–I have the regular speed Time Warner Road Runner.
