Congratulations, Chucksters, we trended again! Yesterday’s Chuck Me Monday effort, using the new #chuckmeout tag on Twitter, not only showed us Casey’s softer side, it also put us on Twitter’s trending topics chart for the first time in weeks. As speculated, the #chuckmemondays tag has been banned, so while we were having fun watching episodes, we were not trending. Switching to the new tag got around that hurdle and we not only trended, we gained some new fans. See you next week for “Chuck vs. the Marlin”, the season 1 finale!
We also have an update on the first half of season 2 streaming on NBC: they’ve run into an issue with making sure those episodes are secure for streaming, so pushed back their online release. We’ve been assured that they’re working on it and will make those episodes available as soon as possible. In the meantime, watch the episodes that are available and enter to win some swag!
OMG! I just love that we got new fans!
CMM will be a major success now that #chuckmeout tag won’t be banned. At least, I hope so! 😀
I still don’t think we have enough evidence to say Twitter banned “Chuckmemondays.” Along with the new tag we had a lot more activity from a lot more users. I don’t have exact numbers but there was roughly 1000 more tweets when the episode ended this week over last week.
well im glad to know the reason at least behind the episode delay. I wish they couldve just posted that on chuckmeout.com
maybe we should have a meter for how many new fans are recruited during the hiatus!
I agree with Spookie, I think we trended this week because of sheer numbers.
Thanks for the update on the Season 2 episodes!
Thank You For letting us know. A lot of fans were worried about it.
“secure for streaming”? What does that mean?
