Vote for Matt Barber’s Film, “Weathered”

Matt Barber, one of the talented individuals who edits episodes of Chuck, has a short film called Weathered competing in the Damah Film Festival right now. The competition is online, and we get to vote!

Weathered is the intimate portrait of Weather Wellington, who is caged in time by the loss of her fiancé. Retreating inside herself, Weather longs for human connection and reaches out the only way she knows how… by making doctors appointments. Weathered stars Nicole Parker, Tony Hale (aka Emmett Milbarge), and Cynthia Avila.

Support Matt by watching the film at the Damah Film Festival website, then casting your vote. You can tell Matt you gave him your support, and follow along as he works on Chuck‘s third season, by following him on Twitter.

  1. is he in chuck’s crew? I don’t like chuck’s showrunners, writers and cast anymore.I don’t support chuck in any category or contest. They have been killing the show since comic con with all negative spoilers.

    • Dear troll who keeps posting things like this using various names and email addresses: KNOCK IT OFF. I’m tired of deleting your comments and banning your IP addresses. Find a new show. Get a life.

  2. Stella, please don’t give up on the show. I have been frustrated by the spoilers also, and I have had my good days and bad days when reacting to them as well. I think there is a lot more going on here then we are aware of. We must keep the faith. Season 1 and Season 2 were great. There is no reason to assume that Season 3 will be automatically bad by a few spoilers specifically worded to rile up the fans. Plus I can think of a couple of other reason as to why they would do it, one of which has nothing to do with the fans reaction at all. And both of which can not be talked about publicly..If you think about you might be able to come up with my reasons on your own and understand why they can’t be discussed. We must watch Season 3 in order to determine what is truly going on. Only then can we make a fair judgment as to whether we should continue watching it or to stop watching it. 3. Best of luck to Matt Barber on his short film. Mel, I read the email afterwards. Oh well I guess it is the thought that counts.

  4. Can we also start support early for Yvonne Strahovski’s movie ‘The Canyon’, which opens in cinemas next month? I’m from Australia, so i’m not sure how much publicity its getting over in the US, but I hope to get as many people to watch as possible, and shown the talents of Yvonne.
