Yesterday we got the title for Chuck episode 3.12, today we get the casting call. “Chuck vs. the American Hero” is casting two guest roles – General Norman Schwarzkopf and a cop. No, really. The casting call says “Actor to play Gen. Schwarzkopf.” Flashback, anyone?
The second role is that of a “hefty Burbank cop” age 35-45. Out of shape and overweight, but not huge, the character is a Burbank cop who is very excited when some real action takes place on his beat.

Hey maybe that burbank cop can be Big Mikes cousin from the Santa Claus ep in S2?
Which is hysterical because the actor who played that role (Reginald Vel Johnson) played the same role in “Die Hard”.
I know right. Man I love Die Hard. I love Chuck more though. 🙂

They wouldn’t put out a casting call for the role if they already had someone to play the part. It would be awesome if Big Mike’s cousin came back, but he won’t be playing this role.
considering this was supposed to be the lead-in for the finale, it’s a little strange to be searching for an excited cop, but a general is something I can get behind.
Stormin Norman, my bet is that Chuck will save him from a bunch of Iraqi terrorists.
He’s there visiting his old friend Casey.
What about Drew Carey for the cop?
