LOL Go Yvonne! Powning 127 very talented actresses is very, VERY impressive. Though it comes as no surprise since Yvonne is by far the greatest female talent on television by a long shot. She practically “Sarah Walkered” everybody for the win. Good for her. 🙂

Yvonne was in some serious battles on this one yet came out Girl On Top. The poll and voting process also brought the show to the attention of many fans of other shows who had never heard of it or Yvonne before (and probably never want to again) and also lots of people who were intrigued by the devoted fan support that pulled Yvonne through and said in comments they would be checking the show out.
The only downside that I saw was some Chuck fans engaging in not-so-awesome dialogues with other fans in comment threads that I hope don’t reflect on ths show. (And, yes, I scanned through hundreds of comments on a couple of the polls to come to this conclusion. My advice: for the sake of the show, always play nice!) 😉
So I’m all ready for the Guy On Top poll. Are you?
But the name calling, OVERUSE OF CAPS and frankly, rather scary comments were the best thing about the whole competition.
Yeah, sometimes it’s entertaining, but when the vitriol gets heated and it devolves into ignorant behaviour on-line, then it’s rather off-putting and could give the impression that Chuck fans are a little too enthusiastic about their show. 😉
I actually wasn’t looking for an example, but the comment exchange just below this thread is an example of what could possibly be called friendly rivalry with people just expressing their opinions. (Although since the poll is over, I can’t figure out why that discussion is included here. Save it for the next time.) Getting personal and nasty is another thing altogether. If someone does that and it just serves to make people think they’re being stupid as an individual, fine. My point is that all Chuck fans will then get painted with the same brush and I don’t want to be included in that, thank you. I especially don’t want it to put people off of the show. They deserve better since they treat the fans so well.
I will, however, gladly include myself in the group of fans who write long-winded, boring comments that nobody reads. 😉

I just found the flaming both hilarious and terrifying. I’m hoping that most of the toally insane comments were from people just using up their internet access time at whatever institution their currently incarcerated at.
I love Chuck and have a huge crush on Yvonne like everybody else but i voted for Allison Mack as Chloe Sullivan all the way. She is the whole package and Yvonne doesnt hold a candle to her
What? I respect your opinion BUT you’re totally wrong. 😀 Yvonne is EASILY more beautiful and talented than Allison. And I like Allison; one of the few bright spots in her show.

I have nothing against Allison Mack, and in a way I’m glad the last round was close.
But I’m also very glad Yvonne won – having her name and the show up there in a big announcement gives Chuck more publicity, which is a good thing.
One thing I think this last round of voting proves, is that Chuck fans are as much into the final season as they were the first 2. After all, in spite of negative comments about the changes in the show, we still all rallied to vote for Yvonne and thats a good thing.
Gord; I would prefer you say ‘the current season’ as opposed to the other. I don’t know about you, but I’m already working on the SAVE CHUCK campaign for season 4.
I can’t believe I said final, I’ve been spending too much time reading negative comments. I’m still hopeful for a S4 as well + an S5 and how many seasons they want to make.
Chuck is one show I would like to see end on its own terms like MASH, Barney Miller, Friends etc.
