This week on Chuck we learn more about Shaw, Chuck goes on his first solo mission, Stone Cold Steve Austin stops by, and Kristin Kreuk’s Hannah arrives on the scene. Plus we get an homage to an Adam Baldwin movie from Casey. Good times! Here’s the official synopsis for “Chuck vs. First Class”, airing tonight at 8/7c on NBC:
CIA agent Daniel Shaw (guest star Brandon Routh) assigns Chuck to his first solo mission in Paris, ignoring Sarah and Casey’s wishes. During the flight to France, Chuck befriends Hannah (guest star Kristin Kreuk) and flashes on another passenger — the imposing Hugo Panzer (guest star “Stone Cold†Steve Austin). Meanwhile, Casey helps Morgan battle Jeff and Lester for control of the Buy More.

I’m really looking forward to the tail-end of the first thirteen episode batch for Chuck’s third season. If they’re half as good as season two’s tail-end episodes, it’ll be well worth it.
I’m really looking forward to these next 5 episodes. The first 4 have been great.

Every Monday I thank my lucky stars for this third season of Chuck. By far the best show on TV and it keeps on getting even better with every episode. Bring on the “First Class.” 🙂
For some reason, this episode aired last night up here in Canada (maybe they all do and I just didn’t notice before). Best episode of the season (to date) in my opinion.
I don’t want to give away any more of the plot than what is in the synopsis, but I will say that the episode seems to strike just the right balance between the main plot and the subplots (both episode and season), the comedy and action elements, and the “Go Chuck!”, “Oh no, Chuck!” and “Poor Chuck” moments that all seem to be present in any episode.
It was fantastic to see Casey get involved in the Buy More subplot, and one line that references something that happened off camera will definitely leave you wondering. We also get some decent character growth (or rather, have it revealed) from Shaw and the introduction of Hannah is done well.
i’m really pumped for the episode tonight… last week’s was amazing and hopefully this one will match up to it 🙂
I can’t wait until tonight’s episode! Before Chuck Mondays were no fun, but now I look forward to them. It will be interesting to see how Chuck does on his first solo mission and to see how Sarah handles not being able to keep a close eye on him. Chuck is the best TV show ever!!! I just wish more ppl knew about it, it deserves way more viewers than it currently has. I love season 3, each episode keeps getting better and better!

I’ve been a Sarah Lisa Walker (nee Jenny Burton) guy from day one, but I have to admit that Hannah’s cute and perky.
It looks like Angie Harmon had fun playing the bad girl after a few seasons playing a New York ADA.
I am so glad to have my “Chuck” to look forward to now each week. I have been doing what I can, not only to follow it, but to try to interest my friends and extended family in it as well. Tonight’s episode looks exciting, and I know that it will be entertaining.
I saw a behind the scene clip of Zachary Levi and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin that brought back a memory. I took a tour of Universal Studios in 1970, and they showed how an airplane set is in sections so that they can bring the camera in closely. When I see the finished product it all looks so real, and it is a tribute to the craft of film and television making that they can shoot on hunks of airplane seats in Burbank, out of sequence, but cut all together the results are smooth and engaging.
I’m excited about Chuck vs. the Fake name. I’m wondering what Sarah’s real name is and what can measure up to Sarah Walker.
Have been a Sarah Walker guy from the outset, but have to admit interested in what the cute and perky Hannah brings to the table.

Chuck Mondays are the best! I’m lovin’ this season and it was great to see Awesome in on the spy action.
I wonder which Adam Baldwin movie does Casey pay homage to. I’m guessing Independence Day (he played Major Mitchell–the office in charge of Area 51.)
All the episodes have been great so far!
Looking forward to episode 5 and more. Where will they go with Shaw/Sarah and Chuck/Hannah. Hopefully nowhere..I want Sarah and Chuck to continue to grow without new boyfriends/girlfriends. What’s with the wedding ring that Shaw put on? Is he actually married or did he lose his wife in the spygame? Here’s to the rest of Season 3 and hopefully a new contract for Season 4. This is my favorite show on TV right now, it has everything. Hot actors, fun scripts and lots of action mixed in with the humor. Yea for Monday nights and for various methods of reviewings over the week.
I am glad that the show has some more action but I am a little worried about the move away from the heroes “Normal world”. I am afraid that the more spy Chuck becomes, the less human he will feel. Like Superman moving off the farm. I just hope that Chuck can hold onto his normal life. I feel that adding Hannah may be that little push that will Keep Chuck Human.
I love the show, can’t wait for tonight!!!!
Love CHUCK. You know…the way a brother loves a brother. This is one of the few shows I can watch the episodes over and over again. Have them all on DVD AND iTunes. Speaking of which….when is season 3 going to be for sale on iTunes?? C’mon already!

I’ve seen it ( thank the canadians fron city tv )and it’s a good episode.
It’s better than the 3.06 because the set is nicer in 3.05.
KK looks great and it will add some numbers to the ratings.
The only problem is with Chuck who is too eager to get it on with Hanna, expecialy in the end…
Also : who knows what ratings has Chuck in Canada? 🙂

Loved the Lou/Rachel Bilson arc (don’t lynch me guys :P) so if Hannah is even remotely similar then I’m sold on the next three episodes of the show (I think thats how long her arc is). She should be a great catalyst for character growth.

Every Monday night I pick up my brother from his karate practice and we head over to our closest Subway, we debate over what’s going to be in our subs for an hour then before we know it it’s time for an all-new Chuck.
I was worried this tradition would’ve ended last season but I’m glad all of us had our voices heard and that we’re back this year and the Subway/Monday tradition with my bro can continue.
I also hope we keep getting renewed because this show deserves it.
No matter what happens, the tradition of taking my brother to Subway and heading home to sit down and watch Chuck will always stick with me.
Season 3 is bad ass and I can’t wait for the rest of this season!

Chuck is the best show in the world. I’ve gotten about 17 people hooked on the show since its inception, and I’m always fishing for more.

I’m enjoying the changes in dynamic so far this season…most notably Captain Awesome being dragged into the spy world on occasion, Chuck and Morgan as roommates, and Morgan as assistant manager at Buy More. Kudos to all involved with the show, and thanks to the chucktv.net crew for all you do for us fans!
I’m so excited for tonight’s episode of chuck! I love how this season all the characters have finally been fully established, and two of my tv leading ladies are on the episode!
We love Chuck so much. Hannah (my daughter’s name!!! she is so excited about that!!!) will be a great addition. Love Sarah but we want Chuck to be happy. Hope she is not a bad guy. Can’t wait ’till tonight!
chuck is by-far the best show on television. i cant wait to see how the kristen kreuk story ark is gonna have an effect on the chuck/sarah relationship. they really do belong together. i love watching how the smallest moments they have together can be so intense and suspenseful. I am also loving how in season 3 there is more awesome and ellie storylines =)

I can’t wait to see what CHUCK has in store for us tonight! I like the ever expanding roster of characters, and having some cool guest stars (Steve Austin, Kristin Kreuk, Brandon Routh) can’t hurt either.
I wonder if there will be any tip of the hat given to Kreuk (Smallville) and Routh (Superman Returns) showing up in the same episode. 🙂
