This week on Chuck we learn more about Shaw, Chuck goes on his first solo mission, Stone Cold Steve Austin stops by, and Kristin Kreuk’s Hannah arrives on the scene. Plus we get an homage to an Adam Baldwin movie from Casey. Good times! Here’s the official synopsis for “Chuck vs. First Class”, airing tonight at 8/7c on NBC:
CIA agent Daniel Shaw (guest star Brandon Routh) assigns Chuck to his first solo mission in Paris, ignoring Sarah and Casey’s wishes. During the flight to France, Chuck befriends Hannah (guest star Kristin Kreuk) and flashes on another passenger — the imposing Hugo Panzer (guest star “Stone Cold†Steve Austin). Meanwhile, Casey helps Morgan battle Jeff and Lester for control of the Buy More.

Chuck vs first class was good. Chuck stood up to (tried to) Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin needs to brush up on his fencing skills. I love Chuck version 2.0. Especially when he looks at Sarah and looses the ability for a few seconds. I’m glad chuck found love again this season, but I’m sure he’ll find out she’s not a good person.
As of now, I like Hannah, but do not neccessarily trust her, and I am unsure what to think of Shaw. Overall, they both seem like they are going to be great additions for the episodes they are in. For now, I am inclined to like Shaw because he is willing to push Chuck and to help him develop into the spy he can be.
Okay, random Chuck comment. UHM…
I’m confused about the flashes/intersect, and that they only seem to do the “whatever fits in the scheme of the storyline” type thing with them, so I hope they delve deeper into the flashes and such. And Josh’s comment about Sarah being Chuck’s “kryptonite” is seeming pretty inaccurate and lame. Unless there’s more to come? (Like, it’s the way they made it seem. During ComicCon and various interviews, like it would be an ongoing, hell, even exciting, issue, the Sarah-Kryptonite thing. It was really only dealt with in episode 2, which is disappointing.)
But, of course, I may be speaking too soon. We’re only 5 episodes in. ^-^
Great episode! Can’t wait for tomorrow’s! So far seaon 3 has been better than I thought it would! (I use a lot of exclamations!) :{)
The first 5 episodes were awesome, I can’t wait for the rest! Hopefully they’ll be followed by a 4th season.

I just started watching Chuck 3 weeks ago, and have since watched every episode (some of them twice)! This show is awesome, and this season’s been great so far!
I can’t wait to get more information on Sarah and Caseys past. We need some good flashbacks or something so we can learn more about them
I wish we could have seen Chuck use the nunchucks (sp?). I was a little disappointed because of that but it was still an awesome episode lime always. I cant wait to see what happens next.
