Chuck is kicking ass but that vest sure makes him look skinny and lanky.
Looks more like he grabbed a child-sized life vest rather than an adult’s.
Well those pics tell us nothing but “oh look Chuck has on a kiddie vest and kicks bad guy butt in a white hallway.” A note on the pic #2 comment. It is most likely that that is a tranq gun.

Chuck does not have a real gun, thats the trank one he used before, also you can see the spare darts on his vest.
Hmm wonder how he got round the question as to why he did not take a real gun !
Who’s to say he didn’t take his service issue weapon with him? We know Chuck would always prefer to tranq people but I don’t think he is dumb enough not to carry his actual weapon even if its his absolute absolute no choice last resort.
Put it another way at the end of 3.11 he has stowed it on his person as he leaves for DC.
The guy lying on the ground at Chuck’s feet has a gun in his hand. Chuck could always commandeer one of those if needed.

As for chuck taking the kiddy vest instead of the adult version and why didn’t anyone see why he didn’t take a real gun… the only person that knows is casey and as for sarah chuck somehow locks her in castle and she never saw. As for the vest maybe the adult version is too big and it wouldn’t work under his disguise

why does he ALWAYS have to use that vest? honestly. why can’t he wear a normal bullet proof vest (which goes underneath his clothes) like any other spies. He has the intersect, he doesn’t kill anyways so there’s no need for those mambo jumbo vest.. just load up a couple of those tranq guns and slip it at the back of your jeans, chuck! and btw, you need new jeans too. lol
Because you can’t carry cans of mace in a BP vest. That’s what it looks like he’s got. Although that’s a little too Emmet-Milbarge-y for my taste.
Tac vests are designed to ride high since usually individuals are also wearing a duty belt carrying various other equipment.
What interests me most is the fact that Chuck is carrying not one but two fighting knives; look closely under the flashbangs and you’ll see the second hilt peeking out. As far as I know there’s no such thing as a non-lethal knife. I suppose they could be plastic training blades, but those would serve no real purpose. Presumably the Intersect contains knife-fighting techniques, but if Chuck doesn’t like the idea of a bullet then he certainly wouldn’t want to get into real wetwork with a blade. Very messy.

Did Sarah say she was going to leave? My understanding from the episode was that Chuck was going to deploy to Italy before Sarah and Shaw went to DC. So everything could still be as planned.

Kudos to NBC for ramping up the promos. For the first time since before the Olympics NBC seems to be getting behind the show with promo slots. The last few weeks have seemed as if they’d given up on old Chuck. The anemic ratings may be a consequence of that.
I just another promo for this episode (3.12) where Morgan, Awesome and Casey try to help Chuck get Sarah back AND it looks VERY funny. CAN’T WAIT for Monday.

I can’t wait to see the three musketeers team up. And after seeing that promo, I’m more convinced then ever that Shaw is Public Enemy #1 for our team of free lance underground spys:)
yo creo que sarah va a rechazar a chuck, y eso le dara mas intensidad al hecho de que despues chuck salve a shaw, arriesgando su vida solo por que sabe que es importante para sarah, y al final cuando se ve que cae la bomba ella va a llorar por chuck, claro que chuck va a estar vivo y va a ver la reaccion de sarah ante su supuesta muerte, y todos felices jajaja
I’m sorry I’m from mexico and now I put what I said but in English, I think sarah is going to refuse to chuck, and that will make you more strength to the fact that after chuck help shaw, risking their live just because you know it’s important to sarah, and at the end when he is dropping the bomb she will cry for chuck, chuck clearly going to be alive and going to see the reaction of sarah before his supposed death, and in the end chuck and sarah theire going a be together and all happy jajaja i hope so, sorry by my terrible english but here in mexico there no much about chuck and i need tell my theory with anothers chuck fans take care
I hope what happens is that Chuck went for Shaw but Shaw manages to escape which Chuck didn’t know. Shaw then goes to Sarah without Chuck and tells General Beckman to have an Air Force Strike which GB approves. Srah then notices that Shaw isn’t with Chuck. They’ll go after him but as soon as Sarah makes a run for Chuck, the building exploded.She tears. Only if she knew that Casey, Awesome and MOrgan already saved Chuck and hides him for Sarah and makes a fake death. Sarah then confesses to Casey that she loves him. Then Chuck shows up to her surprise… whoo.
