This week on Chuck is a rerun of “Chuck vs. First Class”, airing tonight at 8/7c on NBC. Even if you’ve already seen this episode, we encourage you to watch it live and invite friends and family to do the same.
CIA agent Daniel Shaw (guest star Brandon Routh) assigns Chuck to his first solo mission in Paris, ignoring Sarah and Casey’s wishes. During the flight to France, Chuck befriends Hannah (guest star Kristin Kreuk) and flashes on another passenger — the imposing Hugo Panzer (guest star “Stone Cold†Steve Austin). Meanwhile, Casey helps Morgan battle Jeff and Lester for control of the Buy More.

I’ll watch out of loyalty to the show, but would rather have seen them try to snag some future viewers by re-showing some of the all-time great eps from the 3 seasons: Pilot, “Wookie”, “Seduction”, “Cougars”, “DeLorean”, “Suburbs”, “Broken Heart”, “Colonel”, “Other Guy”
Instead we get Hannah and Shaw again. Why oh why.
They no longer have the broadcast rights to those episodes, Bob.

Why don’t they have the rights to broadcast? That’s nuts. I will never understand television and the whole ratings thing either. They say the exact amount of viewers and yet I hear it’s the whole Neilson survey…. Don’t get it. If I ruled the world there’d be some system where quality is all that matters…. So there would be like 10 shows on tv maybe lol.
Because NBC doesn’t own the show. They just pay a “license” fee for the current season. WB owns and produces the show.
Any rebroadcast rights by NBC are part of the contract between NBC and WB.
That’s why it doesn’t matter to NBC how popular or not the show is outside the US, nor how many Chuck DVD’s are sold. Only WB gets money from outside US broadcasts and DVD sales.

Chuck vs. the Mask was one of the best this season.
I like it, a lot.
Also, LOVED watching Fist Class last night. 🙂 Very cool ep.
Chuck vs. the Mask ruled. There were worse episodes this season but no bad ones.
Does anyone know why NBC doesn’t just re-run Season 3 after it’s original run?
We can’t know without seeing the contract between NBC & WB. There may be limitations on how many times the show can be broadcast, and I’m pretty sure there is a definite date afterwhich NBC can no longer broadcast a repeat.
Hey, I just thought of something. We saw our first glimpse of our new comedy team this episode, Corgan!!! 🙂 How do you like that? I thought it was pretty clever of the writers to tease us with what was to come later and I never guessed. Man, I love this show 🙂

since then I watched at least all the episodes at least twice
