Yvonne Strahovski is in Australia to promote her new film, I Love You Too, which debuts in Australian cinemas on May 6. She appeared on Australian news show 7PM Project last night, with co-star Megan Gale (video below), plus Australian fans will have a chance to see her at several events over the next few days.
The film will be premiering across Australia beginning tomorrow night. If you’re in Sydney, Melbourne, Queensland or Brisbane, here’s where you might get a glimpse of Yvonne:
23 April – Melbourne. World premiere, all stars will attend.
27 April – Sydney, New South Wales premiere. Peter Helliar, Brendan Cowell, Yvonne Strahovski, Megan Gale, and Daina Reid (director) will attend.
29 April – Gold Coast Queensland premiere. Brendan Cowell and Yvonne Strahovski will appear and do a meet & greet.
30 April – Brisbane premiere. Review Brisbane is giving away 10 double passes for a preview screening of the film! To enter, visit the Review Brisbane website and follow the instructions.
If you get a chance to attend any of these events, send in your stories and photos!
wow, this movie look really funny and sweet. i really want to see this. I wish i was in Australia!!
I wish Yvonne could use her native Aussie accent for the Sarah Walker role — it’s so much sexier. But it is funny that you can hear her Aussie accent in Chuck from time to time on certain words especially at the end of her sentences…
She kinda used it a little in Chuck vs the Ex when she gave the speech at the Bioscience thing. It was really cute!
Oh but that wasnt her real Australian accent, that was very exaggerated
and now that she’s been in the states for a while a bit of amaerican drops in here and there
Oo man i missed that!!
I’m going to the Meet & Greet at the Gold Coast on the 29th!! SO EXCITED!
Mel, do you have a source for the meet & greet on the Gold Coast? I would just like to double check, so I can make plans. Thanks 🙂
I was there last night for the premier
she was soo lovely, we had a little chat about chuck getting renewed, she seemed really confident so that’s good
Hopefully there’s more of an international release for this film because it was really good. It was different to your usual romantic comedy, it was a story full of heart mixed with some of Australia’s best comedians.
And she was really good in the movie; great British Accent and as usual she nailed the emotional scenes
Does anyone know how to get tickets to the gold coast premiere? Same with Brisbane or can you just rock up and watch the red carpet. Would love to see Yvonne.
Well what I did was rock up, scream a bit and made sure the guy hosting the premiere knew how much i wanted to meet yvonne and then he promised me that when she came he’d get her to give me a double pass. But in the end my friend’s uncle who knew people just got us in so the double pass was given to some other chuck fans.
But yeh just scream your arse off, it shouldnt be difficult to get in because there shouldnt be too many people there so it won’t be that competitive. Like there were only about 70 fans overall there last night and it was the world premiere and almost all the cast members as well as heaps of comedians and media figures, so I’m thinking the Queensland one will be even smaller. And most of the people there aren’t there to see anyone in particular so they aren’t that animated.
Or you could listen out for any free passes being given away on the radio because alot of radio presenters were there/are involved. I think they were giving away some on the Fox this morning.
Oh and also check out the internet for competitions like this http://myfun.com.au/Member/MyFun-Competitions/Win-1-of-5-Doubles-to-the-Premiere-of-I-Love-You-Too.asp
Good luck 🙂
Wonderful actress with a bright future. Let’s hope she doesn’t get lured away from “Chuck” too soon!
Does anyone know where the meet & greet in QLD ACTUALLY is? I thought Movie World during the day…
I hope we get a chance to see that movie here in the States. Obviously because of Yvonne Strahovski connection, but it also seems to be pretty good movie in it’s own right.
Yeh movie might come to states…maybe on DVD
cos I know it’s going to Cannes in hope for an international release
The mortgage loans seem to be very useful for guys, which would like to organize their own business. In fact, that’s comfortable to receive a short term loan.
