Rejoice, Chuck fans – according to Deadline Hollywood (a reliable enough source that we’re ready to post this article we’ve had ready since February), NBC has seen the light and renewed Chuck for a fourth season!
Update 8:45PM: Ausiello is giving a (qualified) confirmation.
Update 8:55PM: Ausiello says the renewal is for 13 episodes to start with, option to pick up the back 9.
Update 9:10PM: The Live Feed is now confirming the renewal for season 4. THR also confirms that ABC has picked up V for another season, currently helmed by former Chuck producer Scott Rosenbaum.
Update 05.14.10: Josh Schwartz let the masses know via Twitter that he got the official call from NBC this morning.
Update 05.14.10: NBC’s official press release announcing the return of Chuck! Timeslot/episode order not yet revealed.
Update 05.16.10: The Live Feed crashed NBC’s tech rehearsal and got the scoop on the network’s schedule to be announced later today. At this point, Chuck is set to return this fall, Mondays at 8/7c, followed by new series The Event and Chase. NBC is touting Mondays as “action-adventure night”.
Update 05.16.10: NBC confirms the schedule noted above: Chuck returns Mondays at 8/7c this fall!
Update 07.15.10: NBC just released their fall premiere dates, and contrary to previous rumors, Chuck season 4 is confirmed to debut on Monday, September 20 at 8/7c. See you there!

This is great news-even better if they get the back 9–I hope Chuck and Sarah can stay together through the rest of all the episodes, regardles of season. I really enjoy the more time available for the comedy and adventure as opposed to blowing time on the angst. Now I will have to eat BREAKFAST and lunch at Subway. It would be super if we could get at least 6 total seasons or more-I sound greedy. Thanks for the really great news and for the effort everyone put into getting a renewal–lets add some fans!!

This is probably the first show saved by the internet that has been renewed again.
Cagney & Lacey was cancelled by CBS after the first season and fans saved the show by writing letters. It went on for a few seasons after ratings improved in S2.
Quantum Leap also went on 2 additional seasons after being saved by fans. I think chuck will hopefully start to prove that neilsen isn’t everything

Absolutly fantastic… I’m in the UK and only just about to start showing season 3. Am so glad I know that it’s gonna keep going. Just hope there isn’t a huge gap between the seasons here like last time.
Stay the course UK–I got pretty upset with S3 but around episode 9 things started to pick up-then came some really great episodes with lots of action and comedy. Chuck and Sarah just had to pair up!!

I liked and enjoyed most of the episodes so far, with a few exceptions, but all in all, i believe it maintains the rythm from season 1 (with it’s ups and downs, but i’m not too picky…): great cast, great music, comedy, action, romance, what not to like???!!!!

Anticipating watching Chuck makes it easy to get through Mondays, and the show never disappoints. We’re old enough to remember The Avengers, Remington Steele, and Moonlighting. All classics, but Chuck is the best. The writing is brilliant. Keep ’em coming!

Agreed, Agreed, Agreed – Best show on Television with a great cast. It’s actually nice to know who everyone is. Kudos to all, but especially Adam Baldwin. Don’t hear a lot about him, but he is great. Hope for many more seasons!

Yessss, great. Now can we see them work up to Chuck and Sarah getting married by the end of season four and throwing that tormenting twist into the mix…let’s just hope that the dead and returned to live Evan is quickly banished….can you imagine a chuck and sarah wedding, then just for good measure throw in casey getting back with his ex and helping guide his daughter…I’d settle for one or the other…but does anyone else think chuck and sarah are heading for a wedding?

I hope this show continues for a very long time like the SIMPSONS!! I just cant get enough of it!! We have CHUCK Parties every monday night. To the producer…. You blew it out the park with this one!! Thank god for another season!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

I’m so glad that the series has not been cancled. My daughter and I both enjoy the show. It has become a great bonding time that we share together is this busy world of ours. We attend to forget to take the time out to spend it with the one’s we love.

Don’t know why, I am a 59 year old basically non-geek, CFO. Yet Chuck is the only real show on TV I watch every week, or care much about. I told my wife, who is much more of a TV watcher than I am, that we would have no use for our TVs if Chuck went off the air :-). Just sell em (OK, she didn’t go with that). Anyway, just putting my two cents in. Took part in the fight to keep it on the air last time, and will again if need be.
So glad we’ll have season 4. I’m 50, my husband is 56 and this the only show we watch every week. It is definitely the best show on TV. The writers are fantastic. Thanks for giving us something worth watching out of the thousands of choices in tv-land.

JUST WATCHED SEASON 3 FINALE….iT was more then I could ask for. I’ve gone to movies that have had less action. Great mix of action/comedy and romance. started watching check in season 2, wife and I have been hooked since. I even had to buy sesaon one, cause I couldn’t get through the summer without chuck.We need more chuck…year round…plus…think joey mcintyres song would be a great intro for next year ” here we go again”…great show, great cast, even had me misty eyed when chucky’s sis started crying in the car,,plus she’s hot ( had to get that in there…and captain awesome…has his funny moments too)…love the chemistry of the show, looking forward to next year! Thanks for the people who kept the faith and NBC to have the intelligence to bring the show back…it’s…awesome!
