Rejoice, Chuck fans – according to Deadline Hollywood (a reliable enough source that we’re ready to post this article we’ve had ready since February), NBC has seen the light and renewed Chuck for a fourth season!
Update 8:45PM: Ausiello is giving a (qualified) confirmation.
Update 8:55PM: Ausiello says the renewal is for 13 episodes to start with, option to pick up the back 9.
Update 9:10PM: The Live Feed is now confirming the renewal for season 4. THR also confirms that ABC has picked up V for another season, currently helmed by former Chuck producer Scott Rosenbaum.
Update 05.14.10: Josh Schwartz let the masses know via Twitter that he got the official call from NBC this morning.
Update 05.14.10: NBC’s official press release announcing the return of Chuck! Timeslot/episode order not yet revealed.
Update 05.16.10: The Live Feed crashed NBC’s tech rehearsal and got the scoop on the network’s schedule to be announced later today. At this point, Chuck is set to return this fall, Mondays at 8/7c, followed by new series The Event and Chase. NBC is touting Mondays as “action-adventure night”.
Update 05.16.10: NBC confirms the schedule noted above: Chuck returns Mondays at 8/7c this fall!
Update 07.15.10: NBC just released their fall premiere dates, and contrary to previous rumors, Chuck season 4 is confirmed to debut on Monday, September 20 at 8/7c. See you there!

My family really enjoy the show. We await season 4! We would like to see chuck and Sara married. Looking forward to see who chuck & Elli’s mom is.
Great Finale for the third season
Never imagined this was going to happen; Chuck’s dad spy in the search for his wife. They got me hook up again and i can’t wait to see the fourth season =)
I only started watching at the beging of this season and now I havta go on The NBC site to watch more!!! Can’t wait for season 4 I hope to find out who chucks mom really is!

Yes this is it guys, this is real perfect tv series that i have ever seen. Forget about the lost final, or other series on tv. This is awesome. I can not wait for season 4.

Unbelievable finale can’t wait for season 4. A lot of shows had terrible finale’s this year but chuck really stepped it up. I’m very excited to see how the writers continue the story of chuck.

I’m very pleased it’s been renewed.
Back in early season 2 my roommate liked this show and I thought it was terribly written. Perfectly casted, perfectly acted, and badly written. Every episode Sarah had some completely unrelated slow motion shots of her body, tons of random references to pop culture and computer related schtick, and a fairly predictable plot. Just obviously pandering to their audience.
But the end of season 2 was really quite good, and then season 3 was OUTSTANDING!!! Very tightly written, a plot that wasted maybe one or two episodes tops, emotional involvement and so many things going on my mind is reeling. Whereas the first two seasons had simple black and white military morality that kept me from taking the show seriously, this season has real moral conundrums that the characters have to face.
I mean, the writing and plot in this season is simply a cut above the first two. Please, keep with the same tone and pacing next season, because this is the best thing on TV right now.
Unbelievable Finale bit upset by the death of chucks dad as he was a good addition to the show but hey he might still be alive like when shaw was shot LOL HAHA

This is by far my favorite show on tv. For a while heroes was tops but that show is waste of an hour compared to Chuck. Only Sparticus on Starz held my attention like Chuck in terms of entertaining tv shows over the past few years but that’s a premium channel. My daughter is 6 and sat the whole 2 hours with me enjoying the season finale. Great ending as always. I love the actors, love the character, love the story. I only miss one thing from season 1, the wonky music that played when in the Buy More. Thank you to everyone involved with the show I really appreciate the effort to put out such a great product.
if they have a good season premiere that wouldhelp this season premiere was okay but not great

Loved the finale. Although it does not come close to Casey crashing Ellie’s wedding. My wife and I watch Chuck religiously every Monday, as well as PDR it to watch later! Go season 4! It will be interesting to see the twists. No one stays dead on Chuck (Bryce, Shaw, Orion?) Will his Dad return? September will tell.

I don’t think there will ever be a show like chuck. Its really one of a kind. Definitely my favorite show of all time.

My family and I have been following this amazing series since the very first episode. We Love It! This is by far the best hour on TV. I love the chemistry between all the characters.
I have many many favorites but John Casey and “Jeffster” are pretty darn amazing and always get a smile from me. I am so glad that the show was picked up for a season 4.
I really hate the fact that we have to wait around on pins and needles each season to see if it’s coming back again. Just renew the dang show for multiple seasons. Us, fans will all be here plus many many more!

but Chuck has changed their minds and is gaining traction with viewers.

I LOVE CHUCK! (: ooh and i can’t wait for season 4
For the longest time Superntural was my favourite show on tv i thought it was fantastically done even though depressing at times a phenomonal story. But just a few weeks ago i saw a link to chuck on sidereel, i watched the first episode and was immediatly hooked. I loved it so much i have watched all 3 seasons online already and i am going out to buy season one and two tommorrow and get my sister and her boyfriend to watch it and i am positive they will enjoy it as much as i have. Also good job to the creators for that spectacular third season finale i was extremly impressed and excited no i can not wait for the fourth season and hopefully more than thirteen episodes. Hopefully all us chuck veiwers can keep it going for many seasons more or at least as far as we can take it.
Glad NBC decided to renew Chuck for season 4 can’t wait to get my hands on the season 3 BD disc set(I already own season 1 and season 2) and now that season 3 is finished get my Chuck fix by rewatching the first two seasons again, again,… and again it makes the wait for the new season easier to bare
I dont know what I would have done if they had ended the thrid season the way they did and did not have a fourth season! Chuck is the greatest show i have ever watched and I cant wait for the fourth season to come on TV and the third season on DVD already started watchin the first and second season on DVD so I will be ready!

…but it would be nice for them to pick up a whole season with advance notice, so the writers can write an entire season and not two disjointed story arcs. I love and appreciate every Chuck episode we can get, though, however it has to happen.
