Chuck fans, are you ready to celebrate the show’s renewal with a brand new episode? Tonight marks the return of Papa Bartowski, Scott Bakula, as we speed toward next week’s season finale. “Chuck vs. the Living Dead” airs tonight at 8/7c on NBC.
CHUCK TRIES TO KEEP HIS SPY LIFE SECRET FROM HIS FATHER – SCOTT BAKULA (“QUANTUM LEAPâ€) GUEST STARS – After his last dream, Chuck (Zachary Levi) asks Morgan (Joshua Gomez) to help him on a side mission. Their investigation becomes complicated when Stephen J. Bartowski (guest star Scott Bakula) returns and learns that Chuck downloaded the Intersect 2.0. Luckily, Chuck’s father may be able to help his son. Yvonne Strahovski, Adam Baldwin, Ryan McPartlin, Scott Krinsky, Vik Sahay and Mark Christopher Lawrence also star.

Hope! my prediction is Chuck is having dreams that Shaw is alive since he never talk to anyone including Sarah about it after killing Shaw in THE OTHER GUY.
PAPA Bartowski is back to help Chuck get a Intersect upgrade before he gets kidnapped by the Ring.
Ellie thinks she is working for the U.S.Government but later finds out that she is working for the Ring which indirectly gets her father kidnapped toward the end of Season 3.
If Shaw is alive,he becomes the leader of the Ring in the seson 3 finale all H*** is going to break loose in Season 4.
Shaw will be out for his revenge on Sarah,Chuck,and Casey. That includes Ellie,Devon,and Morgan.
As much as I’m excited for this episode. I’m all out psyched for the finale/promo. All hell is gonna break loose and I can’t wait. 🙂 I hope we see Alex in the promo that would be cool.

HA. Ladies and Gentleman I was right! Shaw has pulled a Batman by disguising his Identity! Shaw is the one who returns to cause great harm and has an Intersect in his head NOW. Next week’s season finale is going to be intense. Again I was right every great Hero, needs a great Vil1ane and Shaw is elected. I just hope Brandon reprises his role, his alter ego is ok. But I want to see the real actor finish the Shaw arc!
His alter ego? What are you talking about? Justin? No that is not an alter ego, just another ring operative.
Justin is Shaw! His hand print activated the computer to download the intersect. Trust me I am hardly ever wrong and movies plots. Shaw is back and ready for revenge. Remember how he said he only wanted to kill Sarah but if he got in his way he would kill Chuck and make it personal? That’s what I meant by alter ego, but you said his name. Thats a bigger spoiler then my post awaiting mod approval XD
Justin called Shaw at the end of the episode to tell him that the team was captured and they needed to upload the intersect into Shaw. They’re obviously different people – they were in different places at the same time.
Yeah really dude, obviously this one escaped you. That would be just stupid in the first place if Shaw somehow changed appearance like that, and I know for sure Justin isn’t Shaw because JUSTIN called SHAW at the end of the episode and told him to upload the intersect.
Omg what a cliffhanger!!! The end of the episode was just great! Next week is going to be frickin huge. Loved the monologue to at the end, no one is safe.
Speechless I mean the preview of the season finale at the end had me speechless. I also figured since the begining of season 3 the only one who would be able to beat Chuck one on one would have to be someone with another intersect in them. This is huge I just hope Sarah makes it through to the end to see Chuck beat Shaw and maybe kill him again.
No way would this Show kill off Sarah. The fans would boycott the show. If anybody dies it has to be the father,Ellie or Awesome. Or they could be talking about Shaw dieing for real. Remember Bryce cheated death once only to die later. I didn’t get to see the preview for the Season finale, it just went into Law and Order….
For some reason, we got no Finale preview in the Boston area. Or I turned off the set to soon…….
Sorry guys didn’t know people didn’t see the preview but in the preview you see Shaw uploading the Ring’s version of the intersect and so obviously it’s gonna be a one on one fight at some point I just hope the writers don’t puss out and they make it a really great fight!!
Shaw uploading the intersect was the preview? I thought Preview came on during the credits? Boston and the Cape area didn’t get a preview, we saw Last comic standing. So any additional clips for next week, if the intersects fighting or if Sarah was dying we didn’t see that.
I dunno now that I think about it you only seen Shaw from behind uploading the intersect so it actually could have been this Justin guy but I mean I watched this show since the first episode so I would have to say it was Shaw. I’m so happy I already have my Monday set up for it.
No, that was part of the show. There wasn’t a preview for the finale. Dagnabbit.

Wow, it looks like I’m not the only who figured out who’s really going to die. No, it’s not going to be Orion — he’ll just go away (he has his own show on TNT anyway). If you watched tonight’s episode, you’ll know who it will be. Of course, if it is indeed who I think it is, I’ll have no reason to watch season 4.
I don’t think that Sarah is going to die because We saw her in the promo fotos for the season finalle.
No you don’t know that for sure, the main purpose of this was to show that no one is safe, even Sarah. I’m not saying that it couldn’t happen, i’s just unlikely. It would still be awesome though either way because if Sarah did get killed off, it would be in a really well excucuted way.
I dont think they would kill Sarah off but if you pause at 0:19 in the finale promo you can see chuck crying! Like seriously BALLING. So it could be sarah but hopefully not!
Previously, they said “a significant death” — nothing is more significant than a co-starring character dying. Plus, it will help them with their budget constraints… I’m just hoping that I’m wrong…

Ok even if Sarah did die, it would be pretty frickin awesome. And I don’t think it would be because of budget reasons that they would do it, but because the writers have the balls to. I would be perfectly happy if Sarah still made it through, but it’s gonna be awesome either way.
Oh c’mon guys! A significant death? It can’t be Sarah! I’m betting it’s Shaw, ending his shadow hanging over Chuck & Sarah. That would be significant, wouldn’t it?
I hope that’s not true cause I’m done with the show if that is the case quite frankly the only reason I kept on watching the show was to see how Sarah and Chuck’s relationship progressed.
Killing off Sarah would only succeed in the show ending after a 4th Season. From what the show has been through it would be guaranteed fatal. We were lucky the show got renewed with the low ratings. People who love them as a couple would drop the show so fast. Then like my line of work it would be Game Over for Chuck. I do think a sub character will get killed. Casey has a strong following and if he died the show might limp on, but wouldn’t be the same and wouldn’t get renewed next yr.
I think it will either be Morgan,Ellie,Awesome or Papa B. My gut is telling me its Papa B and the watch importance may end up being the key. I do think Sarah is going to get hurt by Shaw and they could end the series with Sarah on life support in the Hospital. But remember Chuck in his dream was the one in the Hospital not Sarah. Not knowing the fate of Chuck would be intense till the fall. Still Im pretty confident Sarah and Chuck won’t die. I think it was back in March Zach (Chuck) said in an interview that IF the show came back for a 4th Season Chuck and Sarah would be together officially. He didn’t spoil the ending for April in Chuck Vs the other guy. We also know the Actor who plays Devon says he would come back if the show got renewed.
I agree it could be Orion. Loved Papa B last night S.B. was awesome. Just the way he and Chuck interacted, I could see the son becoming the father eventually in the finale or season 4.
I highly doubt they’d kill off Sarah because it would likely kill off most of the fan base too. My (non-literal) money is on Big Mike or Papa B, or maybe even Beckman. I just don’t want it to be Devon. 🙁
They could pull an “Emily Sloane” like in Alias, though… Sarah “dies”, but at the very end of the episode, Chuck meets her on a beach on some remote island.
I’m honestly almost afraid to watch the finale because of this “significant death.”
One way or another, no matter how this turns out or who dies, two things are certain:
1. The 2-hour finale will be incredible to watch.
2. This is going to be a looooooooooooooooooooooooooong week.

Or maybe it is the Buy More that is the significant death. In the preview for the finale, we saw the Buy More exploding. There was soooo much going on in that preview. Don’t know how they can fit so much into an episode, in this case, two, for the season finale. Can’t wait, my usual state every Monday evening.
Just remember it is a 2-episode, 2-hour finale. They can cover a whole lot of ground in that time.
Good episode cant wait for the finale next week…Chuck still has a secret with Sarah (not telling her what the intersect can do to him)..The funny thing is Sarah still has a lots of secrets from Chuck regarding her past relationship with Shaw it was only through Casey that Chuck learned about it..The DC flight if I remember was in EPI11.
Guys something exciting you people probably didn’t catch but on the season finally promo there is a quick clip that flashes during a scene at the BuyMore where chuck is falling Behind him there are plasmas and it says “Thanks Chuck Fans”!!! Thats so cool!!!! Chucks lives on!!!
