Chuck star Yvonne Strahovski will host a tennis tournament charity event to benefit Ken-Mar Rescue Society (download pdf flyer), the animal shelter from which Yvonne adopted her dog Chazzie. The event takes place Saturday, July 24 from 5-8PM at the Weddington Tennis Courts in Studio City. For more information and to register for the event, visit the Ken-Mar Rescue Society website.

Chazzie is indeed one lucky dog, well, at least the part of his life after being adopted is.
That gives me plenty of time to save my pennies & donate.

The adoption place is in LA. It would be a little strange for them to do it in a different country
I think the poster meant that he can’t be in LA that day, so he can’t attend the event but would like to donate.

I think that’s the same day as the Chuck panel appears at Comic-Con. Yvonne may not be able to do both, so she probably won’t be at Comic-Con this year.
Chuck panel is in the morning. Charity tourney is in the early evening. She can probably attend Comic-Con in San Diego then rush back to LA for the charity event.
I hope Yvonne makes it but that would be pushing it schedule wise and may tire her out before the charity event. but we’ll see.
im just wondering if the whole chuck cast will be at the comic con again this year.
its very rare you get the whole cast to show up and sign autographs like they did last year at the con.
This is what she tweeted, “Hopefully I can do comic Con in the morning and then get back to LA to host the charity event for the dog rescue society. I want to do both!”
it depends what time CHUCK panel is on at comic con. I think Last year they were on around noon or 1pm. then they went downstairs and signed autographs for an hour or so.

It would be worth a 50 dollar contribution just to have a chance to see Yvonne in person. Can someone who is in the area go and make sure to get some pictures or video and share it with the rest of us?

Glad to see she is a dog lover. These type organizations do a lot of good. If she cannot trust a man she can always trust her dog—unconditional love. Thanks for giving back Yevonne, it all comes back.
Great Cause Yvonne ! ! ! My wife and I rescued 2 Weimaraners from 2 different shelters. One had to travel 1500 miles to get here and has become the GREATEST dog I have ever had. The other was local and she needed some TLC to recuperate form injuries sustained from abuse. Good luck with the event ! ! !

I really wish I could go to this or Comic Con, I think it’s great that the Chuck cast does a lot of events for the fans. When I lived in California, I was a fan, but didn’t pay attention to any of the stuff they did. Now that I do, I live way on the other side of the world in Okinawa… how sad 🙁

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what breed of dog Chazz is? I’ve been trying to recognize his breed, and I can’t.
Some time before, I really needed to buy a building for my corporation but I didn’t have enough money and couldn’t order anything. Thank goodness my mother proposed to get the mortgage loans from reliable creditors. Therefore, I acted that and used to be happy with my student loan.
Hehehe, the dog is a spitting image of our’s, except our’s is a girl, otherwise totally alike! 🙂 The dog is a mix of “border coly” and something. We don’t know exactly because we got her from Kosovo where she was rescued.
