While trying to get inspired for this week’s Friday Five, I turned to Twitter. Chuck fans came through with several ideas, but the one I wanted to use this week comes from @georgeegeorgee. He suggested the Five Best Fights, and even provided a list of his favorites (comments are mine):

Silly Shaw. The man in white always prevails. Shaw vs Chuck in “Chuck vs. the Ring: Part 2” (with an assist from Sarah)
- Sarah vs Smooth Lau in “Chuck vs. the Best Friend”
- Sarah vs Heather Chandler in “Chuck vs. the Cougars”
- Casey vs Ty Bennett in “Chuck vs. the Sensei”
- Chuck & Sarah vs the bad guys while handcuffed in “Chuck vs. the Honeymooners”
All good choices. Sarah gets most of the good stuff, doesn’t she? I wanted to add Sarah vs. Col Keller’s men in Tic Tac and Chuck taking out the Ring agents after he downloads the Intersect 2.0 in the season 2 finale, but can’t find something to bump off George’s list. Too bad Friday Seven doesn’t alliterate. What does your list look like?

What, not Sarah versus Mr. Colt from “Chuck vs. the First Date”? For my money, hands down the best fight in the series.
What about the fight at the end of chuck vs the ring season 2
It’s on my list under George’s.
#1 and 5 were absolutely great, but I think there’s a missed opportunity here. I have four words for you: “Chuck versus the Sensei”
There’s a mistake! Someone confused Tic Tac with “Sensei”, since Ty Bennett appears in “Sensei”!

in Tic Tac it was Casey Vs Col. J Keller 🙂

These I have to say are my top 10 because who can really pick just 5 great fights. There too many of them. Oh! And is it just me or does everyone seem to love every fight Sarah is in. lol Girlpower yeah! 🙂

Honourable mentions go to Ellie hitting Casey with the frying pan in “Living Dead” and Casey hitting Justin with the napkin dispenser in “Subway” because neither of those were true fight scenes.

True. . .They were beat down scenes!
I see no one has mentioned Sarah Vs Colt on the rooftop in First Date – that was one of my favourites.
Also what about Chuck vs Perry in the washroom of the train station and Chuck, Orion and Sarah vs Ring agents at Papa B’s cabin.
Oh and how can we forget Sarah’s dance floor takedown of Casey’s men in the pilot.
Just too many great fight scenes to narrow the list to 5. Maybe you should have made it the Friday 50.
Good list! I probably would have included Sarah’s fight with Cole in Chuck vs the First Date, although it would be hard to pick one to replace–Perhaps a 5a and 5b. Enjoyed the list, thanks for sharing it with us.

And the winner is::::
1- Sarah VS heather Chandler- cougars (my favorite so far, it looked real, it looked dirty, and they BOTH kicked each others asses)
Second place and so on
2- Sarah VS Smooth Lau – Best friend (it didn’t looked as real as the cougars one to me but is was amazing as well, and of course the car thing gives extra points.
3- Casey VS Sarah – Helicopter (It was the first fight on the show, you know besides the ninja versus chuck & morgan opn the pilot hhahah, and it was a good show off of what show was about.
4- Chuck VS the ring agents – Tic Tac (The best fight zac has pull off this season, I normally don’t buy him kicking asses, but this one I surely did.
5- Sarah VS Mauser – Santa Claus (Maybe not a great fight, but the atmosphere around it was pretty dramatic, so it got as exited as the best fight so there for is my 5 spot.
What about Sarah vs the Ring Agent in Chuck vs the Living Dead “Does she have the Intersect too? No dad, that’s all her.”

I dunno, even though it was short I have a soft spot for Casey vs. Captain Awesome (& Sarah) in Chuck vs. the Colonel.

Which was the fight where Casey left a matchbook indicator of “how many” and Sarah was strapped to the underside of a car? That might be my #1.

I think you could have done a Friday Five of ‘Best Sarah Fights’
I think her best was in Chuck vs, The Frist Kill. She almost single handedly took down multiple Fulcrum agents. This fight scene seemed more real to me because she actually looked like she was fighting for her life…until Casey showed up.
The handcuffed together scene in Honeymooners if my fave.
Second favorite is final showdown between Shaw and Chuck.
Third is the one from Tic Tac where Chuck takes out 4 bad guys.
Any of Sarah’s fights from the first two seasons with female baddies are great too.
Im surprised no one has mentioned Chuck against the ring agents in vs The Beard (with the assist from Morgan.) I loved that scene.
Although not really a fight, I also liked the Chuck vs Sarah training scene in vs the 3 words.
i think you guys are all forgetting about the amazing fight scene between anna & michael strahan in Chuck Versus the Break-Up.

Speaking about “Vs the Sensei”, I noticed that on the DVD for season 2, the selection menue mispells it “Sensai”
