Remember those photos of Zachary Levi on a golf course that surfaced a couple of weeks ago? As we noted then they weren’t for an episode of Chuck. Zac was filming a spot for a new Stand Up 2 Cancer PSA, also featuring Zac Efron, Dakota Fanning, Andrew Garfield, Vanessa Hudgens, Logan Lerman, Kristen Bell, Jon Heder, Aubrey Plaza, Sofia Vassilieva, Clark Duke, Olivia Munn, Naya Rivera, Donald Faison, Aaron Yoo and William Moseley. Take a look:
Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) — a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), a 501(c)3 charitable organization — raises funds to hasten the pace of groundbreaking translational research that can get new therapies to patients quickly and save lives. In the fall of 2007, a group of women whose lives have all been affected by cancer in profound ways began working together to marshal the resources of the media and entertainment industries in the fight against this disease.
Stand Up To Cancer will return to primetime TV on September 10, 2010, at 8PM EST & PST / 7PM CT. The one-hour fundraising event will be simulcast live and commercial-free on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, HBO, Discovery Health, E!, MLB Network, The Style Network, VH1, HBO Latino, Showtime, TV One and G4.
Does this mean that Zac has quit smoking? I hope so.
Yeah, I hope so too.
BTW, nice to see that NBC chose Zach to be part of the ad.
Very cool…It’s truly commendable for Zac to take part in raising awareness of a cause like this.
lol He got struck by lightning. I love how Zach can be humorous and serious at the same time. What a great cause.
As a cancer survivor, I certainly appreciate Zac’s involvement. Thank you, Zac!
