Small Chuck spoiler from Kristin at E! tonight, but there’s an opportunity to get your questions answered.
Dionne in W. Va.: Chuck! Chuck! Chuck!
Don’t you worry your pretty little heads about any continuity issues on Chuck because Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak have assured us that the barely introduced Governor from last season will be seen again in the new year. “The governor is still a part of the show,” says Chris. “We want to do big, exciting stories. So right now, going into season four, it’s really about the search for mom.” So the governator will be a side story…but still a priority. More importantly though (this is what they call burying the lead, my friends), I am heading to the set of Chuck tomorrow [Tuesday, August 10], so please tweet any questions to @kristindsantos or email them to tvdiva@eonline.com. Or send a carrier
Hi All:
This is just a theory, but I am guessing that the Governor might end up malfunctioning or temporarily lost during the season.
That might allow Ellie’s skills as a Neurologist to come into play. She might need to get involved in the spy world to save Chuck’s life because he does not have immediate access to the Governor.
Does anyone think that might be a path this season?
No, I doubt it, ma’am.
The Governor will be worn, I’m sure, but I don’t think Chuck will discuss it with his friends. The thing, the device, was the focus for the end of last season. That’s the furthest we’ll get into learning about it.
I hope it’s waterproof. I hope Chuck wears it when he sleeps.
No more bad dreams, no more bad dreams.
Has anyone ever concidered that mama b might have an intersect!?!? Cuz papa b was building one…she could have seen it then left…maybe that’s why they will need the intersect in the fourth season!!
I think she may have been involved in the development of the Intersect. The prototype which we saw young Chuck uploading was up and running at the time that Mama B left. It was in plain sight in the house so she at least knew of its existence. But if she was involved in the project, perhaps it was from a medical standpoint. Papa knew the electronics, but someone had to know the biological component, how it affected the uploader neurologically. That may have been Mama. Which would explain Ellie’s natural predisposition to follow this line of medical training.
Oh, the Mama B – Ellie parallel is very interesting. I really thought that Mama B was somehow involved in the intersect project, but I had never really pictured it this way. That makes perfect sense.
I just hope that they won’t be giving the governor story that much “space” as they did the whole Shaw arc.. Not that the governor is annoying or nothing it’s actually kinda cool, I just meant I hope they keep it fresh and don’t nag the storyline out….
I’m really excited about season 4.. I would like to see Chuck take over Orion’s legacy.. And become somewhat of a lone wolf when it comes to missions and stuff.. But I have a feeling that he just won’t quit the CIA so it’s just wishful thinking!
Don’t take me wrong folks I don’t want him to isolate himself from everybody .. Just want to see him follow in Papa B’s footsteps (not the whole abandoning family and friends part, just the fighting evil corporations part).
I can see Chuck working with all of his father’s technology.
And possibly using that technology to find his mother.
I think he should start inventing things of his own since he’s technically an Electrical Engineering major…
correction I would like to see him invent his own things..
