Chuck writer Rafe Judkins offered to answer questions submitted by fans, following his writing partner Lauren LeFranc’s Q&A from last month, for Chuck vs. the Podcast. Gray has just posted the piece and there are a couple of items that are sure to spark discussion:
Lou (OldDarth): Who is his fav character to write?
Rafe: I love to write Sarah/Morgan scenes for some reason. I like seeing two characters who never get scenes together. There’s one of these coming in Episode [407]
@queuebert: if he can write any scene for Sarah, regardless of context, what would it be?
Rafe: I have always said that my only desire in life is to see Sarah emerge naked from a muddy lake in Laos with a knife between her teeth. And then kick ridiculous amounts of ass. And as of now, it seems like that scene may actually become a reality!
Iiiiiinteresting. Read the full set of fan questions and Rafe’s answers at Chuck vs. the Podcast.
Well, that proposed Laos lake scene could certainly be a ratings booster! LOL
Although I’m sure that it would work rating wise, I don’t think it will happen as Rafe intends it, because I don’t think Yvonne would accept to do it.
I remember having read that TPTB wanted once to make her fight naked in a bathroom (she was losing her towel at some point), but she refused. It could certainly happen with her having a bikini like in 3.01, though.
I have to come down firmly in favour of the Laos Proposition. We can finally see how she came to win the Badass award.
I also love the Sarah/Morgan scenes! Looking forward to it! The second scene seems a bit Ursula Andress inspired and I think it would be great (aside from her being naked, which is actually almost impossible for several reasons).
The first thing I thought of was the scene from Rambo where he comes out of the mud with a knife and stabs a guy. I don’t think NBC would go for that scene, though it could make Season 4’s deleted scenes.
I like the lake Laos idea. I don’t think naked Sarah is possible, maybe Sarah in bikini or underwear. And she has to kick ass.
Morgan Sarah scenes are nice.
