At Comic Con this year, we asked Chris Fedak & Josh Schwartz if “Greta” was an actual name or an acronym. It sounded like the idea of it being an acronym was a new one, but they warmed to it quickly. Now GMMR has an interview with Fedak (and Schwartz on speakerphone) in which he asks fans to come up with ideas for what G.R.E.T.A. stands for. Head on over the GMMR and make your suggestions! (P.S. Check out our Friday Five on the same topic for lots of ideas.)

Zachary Levi introduces the new Nerd HQ
A couple of weeks ago, I posted about the possibility of Nerd HQ’s return. Well, …
Hey chucktv.net team… we should do a mini-challenge and have everyone get the word out about Isaiah Mustafa tonight (since NBC didn’t). Old Spice Guy has a ton of traction and I think a lot of sort of fans who forget to tune in, might think again when they hear he’s going to be on. He reached an audience that Chuck doesn’t normally access. Maybe tweet and encourage people to spread the word?
Well that makes sense now. If it was an acronym it would add an entire new element to the show and remove the idea behind the character switches.
As far as I’m concerned the Greta is the weakest part of this season. It seems pointless to me to have a guest star character with about 30 seconds of air time on an episode.
If the idea was to use guest stars that would draw eyeballs to the show, the viewer tuning in to see the actor will probably watch the episode and say “wait that’s it” I tuned in to see (insert name here) for 30 seconds?
I say they either give the Greta character more to do in an episode, or drop it all together.

I have to agree with Gord.
Get Real, Everybody. Time’s A-wastin’.
Already put Government-Regulated Extraneous Temporary Agent over on Facebook, but that was mean up there! Besides, you just know Bailey has to play the role once, right? #Bailey4Greta!

G.R.E.T.A.= Government RETAIL Espionage and Tactical Agent 😉
Thanks Joe! I was thinking of “Ready” or “Resource” but neither sounded totally great. “Retail” really fits!
