Chuck‘s getting a new mentor, the form of The Daily Show‘s former correspondent Rob Riggle. Ausiello reports that Riggle will appear in episode 4.08 (no title yet) as Jim Rye, a super-positive CIA agent tasked with helping Chuck improve his spy skills. His character is described as “super smart, intensely positive, and slightly crazy”. Well sure.
This is also the episode in which Summer Glau appears as Greta.
Rob Riggle is coming to the Spymore. The way I read that casting announcement, I wonder if he is going to be like the Tony Robbins of the CIA.
This sounds like it could be a lot of fun.

follower of Mr. Robbins himself. Is going to end up being like all the other mentors chuck has had a Lush or just old and crabby and where is sarah in all this I thought she and Casey were in charge of Chucks training.
I really hope “help Chuck” is accurate this time. That’s never quite gone well in the past and has turned into some sort of disappointment.
Chuck seems much more confident as a spy and a person now (despite his relationship fears). He has clearer goals and is completely determined to let nothing stand in the way of them. Someone who could help encourage that behavior to continue would be a good thing.
