We knew Zachary Levi would be directing an episode of Chuck this season; after his stellar debut as director on episode 3.09, “Chuck vs. the Beard,” it was pretty much a given. Editor Matt Barber just confirmed that Zac is the director on episode 4.10, “Chuck vs. the Leftovers,” written by new Chuck writer Henry Meyers. Here’s a photo of the duo meeting with Matt to work on the episode:

Awesome. Zach is extremely talented and I cant wait for this episode (Honestly I can’t wait for ANY of them….but I digress…) Beard was one of my favortie episodes from S3 and I look forward to another one done by Zach.
Honestly, I didn’t know Chuck vs The Beard was directed by Levi and looking back on it, it was one of my FAVORITE episodes of that entire season, probably my favorite up until the Honeymoon, and the episode prior to that.

The Beard wasn’t one of my favorites but it was pretty good for a first time director to start out with. I think now that Zach has had a feel behind a camera, he can do much more with it this time. I look forward to it. 🙂
That is great news. Chuck vs. the Beard was one of the best episodes last season. Just curious, given the title of this episode, could this be the Thanksgiving-ish episode that Chris Fedak was talking about on Chuck vs. The Podcast recently? Hope so. Love the holiday episodes and with Zac directing it is sure to be a good one.
Right on, I thought Zak did an excellent job last season. Can’t wait to see what he has for us this season.
