NBC’s official synopsis for Chuck episode 4.09, “Chuck vs. Phase Three”, isn’t that much different than the short synopsis we posted earlier, but the added headline is very interesting indeed:
CHUCK’S SECRETS AND SANITY ARE THREATENED, LEADING SARAH TO SET OFF ON A ROGUE MISSION–RICHARD CHAMBERLAIN GUEST STARS–Chuck (Zachary Levi), Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski), Casey (Adam Baldwin) and Morgan (Joshua Gomez) venture into the jungles of Southeast Asia when The Belgian (guest star Richard Chamberlain) attempts to unravel the secrets of the Intersect. Meanwhile, Captain Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) and Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) try to decipher a secret left behind by her father. Scott Krinsky, Vik Sahay, Mark Christopher Lawrence and Bonita Friedericy also star.
So this time it’s Sarah initiating a rogue mission, and on Chuck’s behalf.

Awwwwww Sarah’s protecting her man…..i like the sound of this. i imagine there will be some cute Charah moments. Casey and Morgan in Southeast Asia….comic gold!!
And i imagine that Sarah will be roundhousekicking anybody who messes with her Chuck :D. Pure rage to protect what she loves and a lot Charah moments. Damn yeah this will be a AWESOME episode 😀
and the secret from dad is definately the computor which may either at the episode or next episode fix the intersect for chuck
Seems like the show might spiral in the wrong direction.. Hopefully it won’t but who knows..
hmmm…so pretty sure chuck sarah casey and morgan travel to southeast asia seperately. based on some other spoilers ive seen….this episode seems like it will be very interesting 😉
Seperate as in Chuck first with the Belgian in the previous episode with the rest coming to save him or Sarah then Casey/Morgan to back her or some combonation of?

Richard Chamberlain is in both episodes. My guess is that he either tricks or forces Chuck into going with him in 8 then the situation is dealt with in 9.
Please–just get Chuck to quit whining–he needs to man up.

This is kind of random, but I just started watching Human Target out of boredom (show kind of sucks) and noticed in Episode 3 the bad guys name is “Alexi Volkof” I wonder if that’s a coincidence?
I think I saw that episode, I don’t recall the name. Though, that name is not really common at all so…I don’t know!

I hope Chuck becomes a productive member of the group and can carry his own weight soon. We want a new improved Intersect!!
I like the sound of it. Chuck losing his mind seems very interesting. I just hope that the whole team can be together (and I mean Sarah/Chuck/Casey) and that Morgan won´t be acting like an idiot this time.

Government is very understanding about those rouge missions. Its goin to be like 10th rouge operation and they didnt get so much as warning from the nsa.
Thats because each one covers for each other like team mates should lol, like in 4×07 when casey takes his old team down for not following orders but since hes met chuck he has loosened up alot they all cover for each other which i think is great tbh

i make three, and im sure millions of others woudl join, Chuck is the greatest show on tv, and there is not another show on tv at the moment that has such a great and mind grabbing storyline. keep it up NBC roll on chuck season 5 and 6…
Does anyone think that Phase Three will be the third version of the Intersect? Mama B canceled out the Intersect when she flashed that device on Chuck. I think Ellie will discover the computer under the seats in Orion’s Mustang, and Chuck will realize that his Dad left it for him. Chuck will turn it on, and it will download the newest Intersect.
obviously when chuck cannot make the intersect work in the 8th episode because hes in danger, the guy whos trying to make him work will realise that he loves sarah and starts attacking her and he will flash and save the day, theres another intersect on the computer in the car which will give him the add on which he has always needed because that always happens, more secrets put into his head making him more modern with wats happeing with the spy world. the ninth episode will be about sarah maybe trying to get the intersect out of his head, because she realised that she doesnt actually want chuck to be a spy because he may get hurt. but chuck will have to save her when she goes rogue
i dont think she would want the intersect out of his head because he would be in more danger without it wouldnt he he wouldnt be able to protect him self at all
Chuck’s sanity?? ummm, sounds to me like a Governor plot… If Mama B do something to the Intersect maybe the Governor is not functional anymore… (sorry for the bad english, by the way)
finally we will see some action with just Sarah being awesome, she protecting Chuck, how cute is that? I guess this is going to be an electrified episode!! Yey
I really don’t think Mama B git rid of the intersect, in 4.07 she said Papa B didn’t want to do it, but sure didn’t he get rid of the intersect for chuck before??? I think she gave him an up grade with all Papa B’s files plus more, chuck just needs to find the right trigger like with the intersect 2.0.
well… after watched 4.08 and 4.09 trailer, i cant imagine if chuck has to lost all his memory, especially memory of sarah. hmmm… i hope not… i hope sarah would be the one who can activated the intersect, just like prison break, when michael almost died and because the memory of sara, he survived…. just my opinion….
I think that in 4×09 Sarah will be caught and nearly killed in front of Chuck. Then, Chuck will recover his Intersec and save her (Charah moment :D~~ ). With this, Sarah will pass from being the rock which blocks the Intersect, to be the key that “opens” the Intersect.
On the other hand, I think that the machine that Ellie has is for her and not for Chuck. Think about it, the car (and the machine) is the legacy that her father left for her. So, I think that the computer could make Ellie an enginyer of the Intersect or something like that.
