The Oscar nominations were announced this morning, and it looks like we may see Zachary Levi at the Kodak Theater next month! “I See the Light”, an original song written for Tangled and performed by Zac and co-star Mandy Moore, earned a Best Song nomination for writers Alan Menken and Glenn Slater. The Oscars air Sunday, February 27 on ABC.

That’s good news for the song writers, Zac and Mandy. I hope they win.
I suppose the award goes to the song writers, but still I’m sure Zac is proud of it. After all it would not have been noticed without the exceptional performance of Zac and Mandy.

Does anyone know if they will be performing the song at the Oscars? In years past it has been kind of on and off whether or not nominated songs are performed. I would LOVE to see Zac sing this live. He has such a fantastic voice, and it would be great PR for Chuck!
As noted in the article, we don’t know for sure yet if Zac will be at the Oscars. We’ll post as soon as we do!
Also Zac said in a recent interview that if they asked him to sing it live he definitively would! 🙂
