The official synopsis for Chuck episode 4.15, “Chuck vs. the Cat Squad”, is here!
CHUCK INVITES TROUBLE WHEN HE REUNITES SARAH WITH HER OLD SPY TEAM – LOU DIAMOND PHILLIPS, MINI ANDEN AND MEKENNA MELVIN GUEST STAR – Chuck (Zachary Levi) surprises Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) with her old spy team, The C.A.T. Squad, leading to a mission in Rio. As The C.A.T. Squad works to settle a score with Augusto Gaez (guest star Lou Diamond Phillips), old secrets and grudges come to light. Back at the Buy More, Morgan fends off the advances of Carina, a former flame and frisky member of The C.A.T Squad. Adam Baldwin, Sarah Lancaster and Bonita Friedericy also star.
So it’s actually C.A.T., huh? What do you think that stands for? And if Carina isn’t part of the mission to Rio, does that mean she’s not part of the squad?
Hopefully we’ll get a bit more of Sarahs backstory from her old team. Some sort of standoff between Alex and Carina sounds awesome too!
it’s just that carina can kill her in a sec but on the other side alex’s father is casey that’s also dangerous 😛
I’m not so sure that carina would be able to do that, since alex have good self-defence skills :p
That’s going to be Awesome…
Something like episode 3 Season 4? But then more extreme.
But like someone else already said.
Casey did not like the old Sarah Walker.
So i’m most curious, What did she do..
And maybe finally some Alex Action.
I’m looking forward for this(H)
I’m really looking forward to this episode. Sarah’s backstory is always interesting and girl drama is hilarious. Especially old grudges. I can just imagine Chuck surprising Sarah with her old team and getting the exact opposite reaction he was expecting.
Carina is a frisky member of the C.A.T. squad. Look at it as if Carina goes to Chuck to enlist the help of Chuck and Sarah because she knows Sarah has issues with some members of the C.A.T squad. While Chuck is convincing Sarah Carina is having fun with Morgan’s life, then Chuck Sarah and Carina go to Rio or Morgan goes with them and Carina is having fun there. Either way, I would like to have the hair and make-up contract for all the women on 3.14 and 3.15.
Man.. I’m super excited or this episode. Sounds like utmost fun will be had. Carina trying to move in on a more confident Morgan? Him turning her down because of Alex? Priceless.
This sounds like all kinds of fun!
Has anyone thought about the fact that not only does Carina have a history with Morgan, but as was strongly suggested back in “Chuck vs. the Wookiee” in Season 1, she also apparently had a fling with Casey at some point! That could make for some VERY interesting scenes between her and Alex! 😀
How does this show not get better ratings?
I don’t know. This show is the best fun on TV.
Has the engagement dropped out of the storyline for most of what remains in season 4?? Hope not!!!
I’m betting it’s a done deal by the time 4.15 airs. Monday night, maybe, in the last ten minutes of the show? Or… maybe not…
Is Chuck reuniting his bride to be with her old pals because someone has to wear the bridesmaids dresses? You know that’s going to backfire spectacularly! I’d look forward to that almost as much as the Alex/Carina grudge match. 😉
Now that would be awesome
I agree. I am betting the proposal happens at the end of episode 4.13. In episode 4.14 there is some discussion (conflict) between Chuck and Sarah about plans for the wedding. Probably having something to do with Sarah having no real life and close friends before Chuck. So, Chuck feels badly about this and tries to round up some of Sarah’s old BFF’s for episode 4.15.
I don’t think we gonna see a proposal next week, i got the feelign that there’s so much in stake that Chuck will probably be shocked for the next few episodes 😛
Oh, I didn’t think of that, but that would be awesome. And it would make sense. I do have some doubts about the proposal happening tonight, but I really don’t know how they can’t do the proposal tonight. This episode was designed to be a season finale and possibly a series finale, so I really don’t know how they can’t do it tonight. Besides, having it tonight would make sense with Roan and Carina returning in the near future. Whenever those two have been on the show, they’ve done some exploring of Chuck and Sarah’s relationship. And the bridesmaids theory makes perfect sense since Sarah is the only girl on Team Bartowski. The timing makes sense as well. If the proposal doesn’t happen tonight, then 1. I’m going to be very surprised, and 2. it’s going to be very interesting to see what they do instead of it. It better be tonight. They’ve dragged the proposal thing on too long.
Ok so it could be C for Carina, A for Amy and T for Zondra…
I admit there are some ‘slight’ flaws in my theory but I got all excited when the first 2 worked 🙂
Could be a nickname though? (I’m allowed to hope)
Oh maby the T is for one of sarahs covers?!
One thing I’ve always been curious about was how much backstory does Sarah have as a spy? The show establishes her red test as 2004, her partnership with Bryce as 2005, and meeting Chuck in 2007. There’s not much room there for her to have a deep career, unless you count 1998 (recruitment) to the 2004 red test, which seems to be a long training period. And with her red test in 2004, does that mean she didn’t kill anyone as part of the CAT squad?
Picky, picky! As I read somewhere else on the site today, there’s no ‘bible’ for this show. The ‘real’ Startrek writing team used to have a rule that everything they showed on tv or in the movies had to plausably fit the established timeline. Not here though, but really, who cares?
If Chuck was less of an arc-based show, I’d agree with you. But since season 1 they have tried to establish a continuity. This is less sloppy than establishing Mary Bartowski’s departure as 1994 (earlier implying it was 1992) but I’m still waiting to see how they approach this.
Sarah’s recruitment in 98 occurs during her high school senior year; then they put her through college–that’s four years, so real training would have begun in 02, culminating in the red test two years later.
Chuck’s red test occurs in the 3rd season, so this would seem to indicate a ‘standard’ training period of about two years. And Chuck did go on missions before the red test, as long as he accompanied by a ‘real’ spy–so it’s possible that Sarah may have been trained similarly, that the CAT squad were training wheels of sorts…?
This sounds fun and looks like it will air on Valentines Day. I must admit I was hoping for a valentine’s themed episode we haven’t had one since season 2 vs. The Suburbs. I am wondering if that could be why Chuck is surprising Sarah? For a V-day present??
Charlie’s Angels… something that begins with a “T”?
Can’t wait! Wish everyday was Monday…
Morgan the stud. Who’d a thunk?
“Morgan fends off the advances of Carina, a former flame and frisky member of The C.A.T Squad.”
– “Frisky” is hell of an understatement. 😛 In any event, remember that Carina gets turned on by men who say “no’ to her. Hilarity should ensue.
The flip side of this is that it seems the Colonel gets sidelined to Buy More hijinks in this episode instead of going on an actual mission… 🙁
The fact Morgan will “have to” say NO to Carina makes this even more hilarious since she doesn’t take no so well. How will Alex handle the truth that Morgan’s ex fling resurfaces? I have a feeling there will be lots of tension, uncomfortableness and just general danger for Morgan’s love life.
I sincereky can’t see Sarah being part of an all female spy team, plus when did this happen? before Bryce? in between? maybe it was just a one mission thing? But if the team brings up old grudges well that means that she did or someone else in the tems did something totally wrong??? And i won’t be surprised if that person is Sarah. She might have build up her walls and shut off from everything after her brutal experience about the red test. And that created Sarah Walker the enforcer that will do anything to accomplish the goal? Man good thing Chuck didn’t meet that Sarah, he would have been horrified imo.
Well we all know how Sarah enjoys surprises you know being a spy and all 🙂
I have to keep myself neutral on this one and not have an opinion until it is aired. It has potential , initially the storyline seeming to be impacted by Chuck’s bad judgement did not do much for me—his poor judgement along with an increasing number of failures in the intersect are getting to be all too familiar recurring themes. Hopefully I will be very pleasantly surprised.
I’m wondering why could it mean for Chuck and Sarah? Will he propose again?
i love the episodes with carina in them
Guys, guys, enough with the speculation. Carina’s coming back. She has yet to keep her clothes on in any episode she’s been in. And she’s coming back. Let us all ponder the possibilities.
C.A.T. = Covert Anti Terrorist squad?
