If you don’t want to know, don’t read further!
Zap2It is reporting this morning that Volkoff’s lawyer will be played by Ray Wise. You may remember Wise playing Satan on the CW series “Reaper”. Who better to play Volkoff’s defender? Wise is introduced in episode 4.16, Chuck vs. the Masquerade. This is also when we will see Lauren Cohen and Robin Givens, as reported by us earlier.
I don’t know about you all, but this pairing (Wise/Dalton) is going to be dynamic. Dalton, as we’ve seen, brings the crazies, and Wise can definitely bring the evil. Meep!
For those of us with longer memories, Ray Wise also worked on two David Lynch projects, Twin Peaks (an evil character) and a short lived comedy (yes a David Lynch comedy, I remember it being too bizare for words but screamingly funny). If used right Ray Wise should be a great addition.
I had seen this posted on a site, a fan-created press release for the finale:
Obvious Spoilers of course:
CHUCK VERSUS THE RING PART III
OLD ENEMIES RETURN DURING CHUCK AND SARAH’S WEDDING – TIMOTHY DALTON,LINDA HAMILTON, MARK SHEPPARD, LAUREN COHAN AND MEKENNA MELVIN GUEST STAR – Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) are to be married, however old enemies in Alexei Volkoff (guest star Timothy Dalton) and The Director of The Ring (guest star Mark Sheppard) return to crash the wedding. However, Chuck and Sarah will receive help from his mother (guest star Linda Hamilton), Morgan (Joshua Gomez), Casey (Adam Baldwin), and Alex (guest star Mekenna Melvin), and the return of a certain pair of Nerd Herders (Vik Sahay and Scott Krinsky).
Sarah Lancaster, Ryan McPartlin, Mark Christopher Lawrence and Bonita Friedericy also star.
Holy spoilers Zack Man! That sounds unbelievably cool! Fingers crossed that at least part of that comes true. 🙂 And to stay on topic, last time I saw Ray Wise he was playing Father Westley on Psych, the show that has joint custody of my heart w/ Chuck. And yes I did watch Twin Peaks.
Agreed. Also I will be interested in how Wise does with the guest star appearance. Chuck always does well with guest stars.
If that was how they were/are planing to end this season that would be really cool. All the baddies in one place.
Is this for real or fan fiction?
I don’t want to hate, but it doesn’t really sound like the style of writing of whoever writes those synopsises
Its fan-fiction, i saw it posted on a message board somewhere.
Thanks for the clarifacation. If it was real Fedak and Swartz
would have two cows.
As noted in the original comment, this was fan-created.
from what i’ve seen from his work on the CW’s “REAPER” I think he make a great lawyer for our crazy Volkoff. I can’t wait.
Nice casting. This actor is good in any part he plays. Can’t wait.
Here is another piece of Ray Wise trivia from even further back! On the first episode of CBS’s Beauty and the Beast he played the boyfriend of Linda Hamilton’s character, Catherine Chandler.
Good catch — Isn’t IMDB great.
Evil lawyer? Maybe he works for Wolfram & Hart.
That spoiler would be cool if Shaw and Jill crashed the wedding too! Maybe even together. Casey could say something like “Oh no! I hope they’re not chucking each other!”
