Here we go… NBC just released the official synopsis for Chuck episode 4.23, “Chuck vs. the Final Details”. This is the second-to-last episode of the season, which is traditionally an excellent entry into the Chuck oeuvre.
CHUCK AND SARAH RACE TO SAVE CHUCK’S MOM IN TIME FOR THEIR WEDDING DAY – LAUREN COHAN, MEKENNA MELVIN, RAY WISE AND LINDA HAMILTON GUEST STAR — Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Sarah’s (Yvonne Strahovski) wedding prep includes one final detail: ensuring that the mother-of-the-groom (guest star Linda Hamilton) makes it to the ceremony alive. Meanwhile, Morgan’s (Joshua Gomez) responsibilities as Best Man include his most dangerous mission yet, as he faces Vivian Volkoff (guest star Lauren Cohan). Elsewhere, Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) tends to the last details of the rehearsal dinner and seeks help from an unlikely source. Adam Baldwin, Ryan McPartlin, Scott Krinsky, Vik Sahay, Mark Christopher Lawrence and Bonita Friedericy also star.
Suddenly the “something terrible” thing that happens has two new candidates: Mama B and Morgan.
Hm. I can see how it could be Mama B or Morgan, but I personally think it’ll still be Sarah, and have her jump in the line of fire to save one of them, which is what puts her in the hospital.. that’s my guess anyway.
I think this ep airs on my birthday may 9
Agreed, according to that picture Sarah is at hospital for the finale, so I believe is her, the one that is hurt, it makes sense ’cause that’s Chuck worst nightmare.
Hoo boy! I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Buckle your seatbelts, Chuck fans, ’cause this is gonna be a bumpy ride! 😀
Chuck is invisible or super hero?? why nothing happens to him??
He’s looking for his mom. Read the first sentence of the synopsis.
I know I just thougt different episodes about chuck:((
Oh, you mean why doesn’t he get hurt? Because he’s the hero!
maybe he could at least take a bullet once in a while
It would suck for Chuck if both his dad and mom were to die. 🙁
Should be an awesome ep though.
That’s more than an AMEN!!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait though for the episode.
Is Mary Agent X?
I’ve considered this… especially after we first meet her and she takes out all the Russians. Could be an intersect. 😉 Did Papa B do it “all” for her?
I don’t think so because Vivian said Agent X is the only man her father fears.
maybe Morgan has to seduce Vivian LOL
In that case, he’s going to die. lol
Na…It’ll be Roan Montgomery. rofl
So freaking intense! It seems they’re telling four stories and I hope at least one of them gets wrapped up before the dreaded “cliff hanger” Can’t wait!
Sometimes they do seem to pack a little too much in an episode. I at least hope Chuck and Sarah get married. Maybe Alex saves the day with an incredible display of marksmanship to save Morgan.
I dont wanna be the “Debbie Downer” but im gonna bet Sarah and Chuck will not get married will their be a wedding hell yea will it be completed not a chance in hell. Also ill go as far as to say that Sarah’s livelyhood will be left in question at the end of the season.
PS-As redundant as the writers sometimes are i cant see them killing off Chuck’s mom after just having killed his dad last season.
I disagree with ur pov, because no matter what this is Chuck, yes we get great dramatic scenes but never a dramatic finale. It’s possible that this episode we will see Sarah going in the hospital, but the finale i’m pretty sure will be good, no cliffhanger death or comas or whatever.
I’m thinking that this Eraser doesn’t erase people — he’s like a Phase 3 and erases memories.
I agree with you I loved episode phase 3. in that episode altough he lived hard times but he was rescued simply and nothing happened to him. This time it must be more convincing!!
Chuck vs the LAST Details?
My monies on Mrs B–What other corpse would they allow at the wedding? She is also a high dollar guest star. It would emphasize how dangerous the spy world is for family B–especially if Sarah gets wounded.
should be a fast paced episode. a lot to fill end and still don’t know if we get renewed. this just bites. a great show and i still can’t understand why the rating’s have not gone up…………..let’s keep the faith……..
earle says I have wondered if we have a problem getting new viewers because a lot of episodes (and characters)are strongly related to each other–if you see just one or two episodes sometimes they do not mean as much to a new viewer. I am very concerned we will not get a season 5–perhaps a shortened (13 episodes) season 5–that would be better than nothing. However I understand that getting a total of approximately 100 episodes might make the whole series more marketable–I really do not know___We should hope for the best and contact the advertisers.
I’ll bet Ellie’s unlikely source to help with the rehearsal dinner is Casey. After all he planned her wedding in season 2.
Can’t wait for the episodes! The best series!
Casey helping Ellie could be a treasure that outshines the main storyline.
I like your idea, but I really hope it’s Jeffster!
Think it is Awesome who is Agent X. His character was originally intended to be a bad guiy before proving too popular. Fear this episode is packing too much in….think it has been a real problem for the show this year along with the lack of chemistry between Chuck and Sarah and the fact that the show has gotten too campy. Think the producers/actors need to revisit the best of the past three seasons. Things seemed to have dropped off after Phase 3, as I thought the first part of season four was pretty good.
Also, interesitng point made above that I agree with is that in the first two seasons each episode kind of stood on its’ own so it was easy for new viewers to jump in…but now there is so much history intertwined and multiple story arcs that a new viewer would have a hard time getting into the show. Does not bode well for the ratings and a season 5 pickup.
