Chuck composer Tim Jones has been posting music cues on his Facebook page from time to time, including some that were cut from various episodes. Today he posted one that Chuck fans have been asking about for ages: “Charah’s Theme” or as it’s officially known, “A Question and an Answer”. Listen to it below.

CHUCK vs. The Other Guy
All of them. Well, whenever there is a tender moment between Chuck and Sarah. It’s usually just a few piano notes; very moving.
But first time was in Wookie as the title suggests. Absolutely beautiful…
I recall it from 3 episodes, but there are likely others:
“Wookie” : My middle name is Lisa.
“DeLorean” : Chocolate croissants on Sarah’s bed
“Other Guy” : Sarah, do you love me.
“Santa Claus”: The bracelet. That’s where I first took note of the cue.
I thought it was also from 108 when Chuck asks Sarah if it was all just work.
There’s another one that could be but I think it’s not, episode 113, last scene, Chuck gives Ellie the ring.

Absolutely beautiful. It “drips” with tenderness. Thanks for posting! It reminds me of many of my most favorite moments of CHUCK. Sure wish we had a CD soundtrack.
Oh my God! I can’t tell you how happy I am to finally hear this piece of music in full. I’ve been in love with it for four years. The scene in Chuck vs the Wookiee is still my favourite. Bring on the CD!

Favorite moment of this song is definitely in Chuck Vs. the Other Guy. The clear piano notes were clearly heard and beautifully placed.

i’m so loving it! i’m kinda getting some goosebumps while i’m listening into it. i wanna see sarah walking down the aisle while chuck is smiling while staring at her and this is the background music.
They’ve used this many times in many of the most poignant moments of the show. The first time I ever noticed it was in episode 7 (Versus the Alma Mater) right after Chuck has viewed the file showing Bryce talking to Chuck’s professor and realizing that Bryce framed him to save his life. Sarah was watching over his shoulder and got to see Bryce again, after his first death and before they discovered he was alive.
Upon later rewatching the first season, I realized it was used once or twice before that episode.
And, of course, probably my favorite moment of the series, when Chuck finally asks Sarah whether or not she loves him.
AWESOME. PREFECT. BEAUTIFUL.

How about a ring tone version of this song or maybe a series of Chuck ring tones? I would think there would be a demand if Tim made them available.
Sounds like you’re all interested in hearing the rest of the score CD. Only one way that can happen. Make your wishes known to Warner Brothers by requesting the release of the CHUCK Score Soundtrack CD by Tim Jones. All they have to do is package it. The music is done. That was a lovely peace i think it was in the episode where chuck go’s to sarah’s room after her father dose a runner with some money and chuck gos to see how sarsh is and take cake and coffee and chuck makes her laugh
