Scott Rosenbaum to Develop Pirate Series for FX

After leaving Chuck to take over the flailing V for ABC, Scott Rosenbaum found himself without a show when the sci-fi series was canceled. Now Buzz Focus reports that Scott has been tapped by Gale Anne Hurd (The Walking Dead) to develop a new series for FX. Port Royal is a 17th century period series that charts the boom of Jamaica as a thriving epicenter of merciless pirates, dirty politicians and cutthroat merchants. Scott will write the pilot and executive produce the series if it gets picked up.
