Yvonne Strahovski… need we say more? In our 4th Comic-Con coverage, Mel & Liz finally nailed a press room interview with Yvonne Strahovski! They also had great interviews with Chris Fedak, Ryan McPartlin, Zachary Levi, Joshua Gomez, Adam Baldwin, Vik Sahay, and Scott Krinsky.
Everyone was a little emotional at what was most likely Chuck‘s final appearance at Comic-Con. But take heart! Shooting has already begun on season 5, which begins in its new Friday 8/7c time slot on October 21st. It’s coming fast!
We will be taking another much-needed podcast hiatus until Chuck returns in October. Please visit ChuckTV.net for all your Chuck needs, and also www.chuckpodcast.com to catch up on old podcast interviews.

I love your sence of humor. Damn you two are so cute. Great Podcast this one out. Wtiting like Twitter. Statements are short. Love ya both!
Thank you both for you dedication & passion for the show, i think you did a very good job reporting news from the Con i especially enjoyed the interviews in the press room.
I didn’t knew Adam, Vik & Scott could make such a funny trio, Fedak & Ryan where cool to, first interview with Yvonne on ChuckTV was also nice but i just loved the part with Zac & Josh.. i think they are very entertaining in a cool geeky way 🙂 being good friends in real life gives them amazing chemistry in interviews and even on the actual show.
I think i said this before but for me the best surprise from SDCC was to see Zac all emotional and teary, i was used to see him all smiles and jokes but now i think he showed how much the show and Chuck fans really mean to him.
Seeing stuff like that makes you proud to be a supporter of this fantastic show !
Fun podcast to watch. And Yvonne was very animated; the most animated I’ve seen her at these things.
Hope Sarah Lancaster had her baby, so she can back on Chuck asap!!
Me to i hope sarah lancaster had her baby so she can been back on chuck it wouldnt be the same with out her on chuck
Great pc as usual it was wonderful that you were able to speak to Yvonne this time. She really was more involved in the panel this time but it is one of her answers that had people thinking she would be a lesser part in the show, when asked by the moderator she says something about being able to have a rest due to Morgan being more of the focus of the show.
This cast is so damm good it is such a shame that the show is finishing and I am gutted that this will be the last season( although would still like the odd film aswell). It is really great that both fans and cast were able to say some sort of goodbye at comic con, but it must be bizarre for the cast as this is probably the first time they have seen each other since S4 Wrap party and they are already thuinking about saying goodbye.
No matter how bad it is for us fans to be saying goodbye to this great show it is an improvement for the cast as this time when they have the wrap party they wont have the concern over renewal and that has got to be easier for the cast. Plus if Nerd HQ to be an anual thing I am sure that Zac would be able to get most of the cast there for a Chuck conversation even withhout being directly involved in Comic con. Particularly Zac and Yvonne have very bright futures as they are both great actors and lovely people to boot and I am positive that they will prosper in all they do.
Yvonne is right the Chuck faithfull will follow this casts future projects with interest I certainly look forward to her new projects as although she was not nominated for an emmy, in my opinion it was only because they did have a categary that applied.
Hi. Love this site and the podcasts. I don’t usually write in, but one thing struck me as interesting. You said Vik Sahay is SO like his character Lester. I did set work on a film he did, a dramatic film, and none of us knew him from the show, and his character in the movie was a very deep, quiet type, and we all saw him like THAT! Even when not filming. We never in a million years would even have guessed he could do comedy at all! Meaning, it seems to me that whatever project he’s on, for the duration, he kind of stays in that world, even when not shooting. Thought that was neat. I wonder if you’ll run into him after Chuck is off the air, and find him quite different. I bet you will.
I think you misunderstood – he was definitely staying in character as Lester during most of his appearances at Comic Con, but we know him to be a warm, friendly person. As I noted, at a party at Comic Con, he broke character, gave me a hug and a sincere thank you for our support of the show. So to sum up: Vik is a good actor; he’s not Lester. 😉
Oh, I see. I did misunderstand. Still, mind you, shooting with him on this other film, he was completely not what I see him being for this show. It’s pretty amazing.
It was a great report! Both of you did a great job in bringing back the flavor of Comic Con for those of us who could not attend. The video of morgan to kick off the show, really drove a nail into the base of my brain. I am really afraid of that they are going to make way to much of this dweeb having the intersect. I am having the same feeling of dread I had after hearing JS comments at comic con going into season 3. I really hope I am wrong.
Hi, i was at this comic con this year and the chuck panel..i had a press badge. i was wondering how you got in the press room. where was it.
The press rooms were set up by Warner Bros. so you had to be in touch with, and approved by, them.
Hi Mel and Lise. Love your postcast. Thank you for all the information about Comic-con. I wish I could be there once but it’s too late for Chuck. Hope thre’s a Chuckfest somewhere this year. Love Yvonne’s new hair. She seems so at ease and happy. And the emotional Zac. Such a touching moment. The cast of Chuck is …awesome. I can’t say it enough.
