Yesterday we shared a little bit of intel from the set of Chuck episode 5.05, “Chuck vs. the Hack Off” courtesy of various journalists visiting as Zachary Levi directed. Today BuddyTV has a little more scoop to share from the set, which we’ve read and disseminated into handy bullet points of new intel:
- The attire at the cult where this episode takes place is a gauzy white tunic that hits mid-thigh. And that’s it.
- Filming on Monday was “in a state of near-nudity”, according to Zac.
- Zac was directing the episode in a short robe, since of course he was in almost every scene.
Chuck returns to NBC on Friday, October 21 at 8/7c!
There is an old Inspector Clousseau movie with Peter Sellers called A Shot In The Dark. I think one of the funniest scenes in that movie was when Clousseau follows a suspect into a nudist colony.
If you have never seen that movie, you should check it out. I think it was the funniest Inspector Clousseau movie they ever did.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that isn’t the inspiration for this episode. Like The Court Jester in Vs The Balcony and so many others throughout the previous 4 seasons of Chuck.
