If you watched Community last week, you might have noticed a familiar face at the beginning of the episode when the Dean showed the Greendale Community College commercial from the ’80s. That’s Chuck‘s own Ryan McPartlin touting the benefits of Greendale! Originally this episode was supposed to air the same week as “Chuck vs. the Hack-Off”, featuring a cameo by Community’s Danny Pudi, in a nifty bit of network synergy. Yet another reason NBC’s decision to bump Chuck‘s premiere back a week made no sense.
