Here’s the official synopsis for episode 5.08, “Chuck vs. the Baby”, airing Friday, December 30 at 8/7c on NBC.
SARAH’S PAST COMES BACK TO HAUNT HER AND THREATENS THOSE CLOSEST TO HER — CHERYL LADD AND TIM DEKAY GUEST STAR — Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) is forced to confront a secret from her past and feels she must do so alone, while Chuck (Zachary Levi) urges her to let him help. When Sarah encounters her original handler, Kieran Ryker (guest star Tim Dekay, “White Collar”), she fears that he will harm those closest to her, including her mom (guest star Cheryl Ladd, “Las Vegas”). Adam Baldwin, Joshua Gomez, Sarah Lancaster and Ryan McPartlin also star.

Why is there no synopsis for Chuck vs the Santa Suit? Is it too spoilery?
Ok..this seems is going to be a very intense episode..One thing though, I love Sarah but i think by now she could let Chuck in when it comes to her family and past…or maybe she’s just trying 2 protect him thats way he wants him out of it..Anyways I’ll just have to wait and see 😉

I think you made a mistake on the date because Dec. 29 in on a Thursday and I’m guessing this episode airs on the 30th.
Don´t tell me Sarah had a kid? It would be too OCC for her the writers would writing themselves into a corner if it is. But we´ll see.
So is Sarah going to ask her handler how old partner Bryce Larkin is doing in his new life as con man FBI consultant Niel Caffery?

Maybe the “baby” is Sarah’s long lost Sister that she mentions in S1’s Wookie – She must have gotten into trouble ( getting mixed up with Ryker) – Sarah knows Ryker – so she thinks she can do it alone. Also maybe she doesn’t want her Mom knowing She is Married to Chuck. What ever the story it will be interesting!!

Anyone else think the “Baby” is referring to Clara, and throughout this episode Chuck and Sarah are supposed to be babysitting her? =P
As much as I would love to hear the words “I’m pregnant” be uttered from Sarah’s lips (and, be legit), I have a feeling that the baby has something to do with Clara and I’d even go as far as to guess that they’re going to have to pretend that she’s their daughter…
Could be wrong, but that’s just my two cents. Sarah-centric episodes are the best because she’s such a mystery! I’m thrilled to finally see wtf is up with her and her mother!
