Here it is! The final round of the Ultimate Chuck Sing Off for seasons 1-4! We’re down to choosing the ultimate songs from seasons 3 and 4 (seasons 1 and 2 were chosen in Round 5).
- Songs are grouped by season and compete against each other in random match ups.
- JEFFSTER! gets their own competition because, well, it’s JEFFSTER!
- “Short Skirt/Long Jacket” is included in the Season 1 showdown only.
- We opted not to list every song ever used. Instead, we chose the songs based on which ones were downloaded most from our Music pages, are referenced by fans in discussions, and/or were part of pivotal scenes.
- Songs are from Seasons 1-4 only. We’ll hold the Season 5 competition in February.
Round 4 voting ends Saturday, January 28, at 11:59PM Pacific.
Guys, really? “Feeling Good” is winning vs “Down River”. How can that happen? 🙁 It was a great song, Charah´s favorite song and all that, but “Down River” was there to witness Sarah quiting the spy life to go with Chuck and leave Shaw behind… I will never forget that smile on her face and how she unhesitatingly dropped her gun on her bed, well, shortly followed by Shaw´s forced entrance, but anyway, still a precious moment.
Give that song the credit it deserves.
Both songs made it through 5 rounds and beat out 36 other songs to get here. I think proper credit is being given.
Still would love to see “Down River” go a bit further.
Mel like you said that both songs made it through 5 rounds and beat 36 other songs to get here so thats saying somethink for the 2 songs to me ‘Feeling Good’ is just great. 🙂 🙂

I totally agree, as soon i heard Down River i looked it up on my computer and I still listen to it all the time. And that was a great moment when sarah smiled :). And the chorus to that song and the moment it matches with is perfect and makes you cry your eyes out. So please watch that moment eveybody before you vote and if you still like feeling good better thats your choise but just try Down River berore you deside. THANKS 😉
“Feeling Good” is a classic, and considering the scene it appeared in it’s not at all surprising that it is winning.
And that´s the problem. It is a classic and it was way before it aired on Chuck.
I´d rather see a not-so-well-known song, the kind one that you search for it and you see tons of comments linking it to Chuck, getting the “spotlight” so to speak, than fading way to those songs.
It´s probably because a lot of those songs have already lost and I´m a bit mad because there can be only a winner. In this round, it should be Down River. But then again, only my 2 cents.
I’ve really liked the 3-4 finalists in all of the categories. When you announce the final results, it might be nice to see a list of the 1st->4th place songs for each category.
I’m calling it right now: Feeling Good will be the winning one!
I think that “Feeling Good” was the very first time that Sarah realized that Chuck had something to teach her and not the other way around. It was also the first time where she was able to truly let her guard down and just sit and listen to something without there being an agenda.
I agree with potf on wihich song will win.
Still think Down River should win. Yes, technically “Feeling Good” is ‘their’ song, but in the show, they hardly played it. And don’t get me wrong, I like both of them. But Down River IS the most frequently played song on my iPod, so I’ve gotta support it. It was beautifully placed when Chuck told Sarah he loved her, AND, it was a great addition to the montage they played at C2E2. Whenever I think “Chuck and Sarah,” I think Creature Fear and Down River!
This man speaks the truth 😀 Precisely my thoughts… “Down River” was the beggining of the relationship, while “Feeling Good” came along in a context of trusting each other. It depends on what each one thinks it weights more, for me its definatively “Down River”.
As much as I love Down River and how it was used and the scenes in which it appeared, it was another of many songs which were background music rather than part of the story itself. Aside from Chuck’s comment “that’s my jam” when I’ll Stop the World and Melt With You was used at the Buy More Christmas (er..Holiday) party in season one, Feeling Good is the only time I recall that tthe characters expressed being aware of the music being soundtracked into the show (c’mon fans, refresh my memory if there are more!).
