  1. I would have preferred to see Zac start his after “Chuck” life in something “deeper” than a half hour sit com. His leading man talent (not comedic) has become so apparent over the “Chuck” years.

However, I hope he is a great success on his new show. He deserves the recognition.

  2. Well looks like Zac gets to keep his beard. Rats now we will not see his Gorgeous face Rats. Iam just gessing thats why he took the job. but I still think his A Gorgeous Hunk Of A MAN!!!!! no matter what!!!!. I will allways Love him.!

  3. Good looking cast. Zach looks older with a beard, too. Maybe he’s going for that or he just dislikes shaving, but it definitely ages him.

  4. Hay Kevan I know The Beard makes Zac look older but if you were on A show for five seasons you would not want to shave for A while ether. he always had to.

    • Most men who “dislike” shaving just don’t shave properly. And unfortunately, that’s probably 90% of guys. Not saying Zach looks bad with the beard, because a shorter one suits him, but he definitely looks older.

  5. I am happy for zac! I was so in denial after chuck ended and its great to know i can see him sooner than expected with tjis new show. I have high hopes. Not a fan of the beard, but if he likes it, thats fine with me. Excited to see joel d moore too. Dont see much of his acting and its great him and zach will work together. Cant wait for let it go. Cant wait for more chuck.

  6. I meant zac. There is no more chuck…for now.

  7. People should realize that just because this pilot is filming, doesn’t mean it is automatically going to picked up as a series.

Fox is producing ten comedy pilots this year and they normally only pick up 2 to 4 of them.

    • Yep, we’ve pointed that out, but it’s also quite alright to get excited about the prospect of a new series for Zac.

      • I know you know, Mel. It just seems a lot of people on Twitter, in particular, don’t seem to know what “pilot” means and are asking when it is coming on air.

  8. I know they make a lot of pilots, but considering one of the few best in this past year’s class was nepolian dynimate…. I’d say Zac’s charisma alone will allow this one to get picked up.

btw Mel, any updates on I, Frankenstein? 🙂

    • Napoleon Dynamite was animated. That’s a whole different category from the live-action comedies because the development and production of animated shows is an entirely different thing. They usually don’t even mention them in those “pilot development” charts.

When I said 2-4 could be picked up, I’m only referring to live-action sitcoms.

  9. So happy for Zac he was the best part of Chuck for me and for many other fans great actor, great character, great relationship with the fans.
I hope his pilot gets picked up so that we get to see him on a weekly base @ FOX

Off topic: who is the girl sitting next to Zac? she is gorgeous.

    • That is Kat Foster and she plays the wife in the pilot.

She played a young wife in a sitcom on Fox a few years ago called “Til Death”.
