Several of you have emailed me about the Chuck figurines now available for pre-order at NBC Universal. I wanted to post a quick note to say:
- Yes! There are Chuck figurines now available for pre-order!
- If you place your order before June 6, you’ll save $20 on the 4-figure bundle!
- The reason I hadn’t posted already is because they’re sending me a set to review and I wanted to wait until they arrived. They should get here in a day or two, so watch for that post later this week!
I have to say those figurines don’t even look like anybody. are they kiding me I say don’t even bother it would be A wast of time. forget about it !.
Gotta agree. If they’d even looked a little like our crew, I’d have been on them like stink on a monkey but geez, they’re not even close!
One more thing I love the date to pre-order by June 6,th it’s my brithday.
does NOT look anything like our heroes.
I’m confused…Is it supposed to be Spy Chuck, Nerd Herd Chuck, Casey and Sarah? Why would they even bother making these for a show that is finished?
After looking at the pictures NBC has on their site, I have to agree that these figures are not worth the money. Seems like NBC was trying to make a quick buck off the fans.
They are not even good enough to be in a kids meal. Let a lone asking $20 each for them.
WB would authorize this trash but refuse to do a Chuck Score Soundtrack CD? Really? What are they thinking over there? Does nobody at WB get it?
Sheesh, you people are never happy.
we are not happy liz because the figurines Don’t looklike anybody!
You wouldn’t be happy anyway.
Actually, that’s a little unfair, Jeanne. I’m guessing that they *do* look like somebody, just not the Chuck cast members.
LOL LOL LOL LOL
they arent suppose to look like the characters, they are a take off on comic book chuck. i think they are kinda cool looking, definitely different. if they were supposed to look like real characters, and they were off everyone would complain too. i kind of like them. i guess either way you cant win. oh well.
Hmm, why would they create figurines for a show that supposedly had crappy ratings ???
The Figurines nerd heard outfit is really the only thing thats chuck related. Looks like they used generic figures 🙁
Making a soundtrack would have been more profitable and memorable I thingk (or posters).
More similarity for Yvonne here;

Uh, no. I’ve met Yvonne in person many times. That bears a passing resemblance to her, but it’s really Miranda, not Yvonne (or Sarah).
Can anyone realy do justice to how Yvone looks in a action figure lol 😉
Also, on the same site, check out pics of Zack and Yvonne together! They look so perfect and she’s an absolute stunner!
I’m sorry, but I’ve rarely seen a figurine that exactly duplicates the person’s features. If you want exact duplicates, download some photos of the cast.
They don’t have to be exact. That can never happen, but at least resemble. These toys don’t at all. Heck, Bill O’rielly has one and it’s 80% Bill! IOW, you can tell it’s O’rielly. These look NOTHING like our beloved characters.
Is is because of royalties? By looking more like the cartoon version-maybe NBC doesn’t have to pay Yvonne, Adam, or Zach royalties because it isn’t really their image? Just a thought….
Nah, I think it’s a style choice. They went with more of a “comic book” interpretation than realistic.
If i wanted a model of a character, I want it to at least be recognisable by some one, that looks like them, without having a label on it.
However like everything, its a personal choice, some people prefer detail, others like Exaggeration.
Well, the most interesting thing is that NBC must realize that the Chuck fan base is alive and well. Buy the DVD’s and keep it going so we show support for that Chuck movie.
Interesting looking figures. The price does seem a little high.
Guys,
If u all want a Chuck movie buy the toys, shirts, DVDs, etc. regardless of the opinions they’re WB authorized and will support the show. If you want a continuation of the story spent some the cash
