2012 In Review: Ryan McPartlin

In addition to our usual Chuck Year in Review feature, coming later this month, we thought it would be fun to take a look at what some of the Chuck cast and crew have done this year following the end of the series. See the complete round up here.

Ryan McPartlin racked up quite a few additional credits this year after Chuck wrapped, with several series and TV movies added to his CV.

In February he guest starred in an episode of Hot in Cleveland on TV Land opposite veteran soap star Susan Lucci. March kicked off a multi-episode arc on the final season CSI: Miami as Assistant State’s Attorney Josh Avery, culminating in a twist tied in with the season’s villain.

Over the summer, Ryan co-starred a web series, Daybreak, that was a companion to the FOX series Touch. The five-episode series is still available to watch online. Ryan’s episode of Rizzoli & Isles – starring former Chuck guest star Angie Harmon – aired in July, and he guest starred in an episode of Necessary Roughness in August. He also headed to Canada to film the romantic comedy The Right Kind of Wrong opposite True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten and The Vampire Diaries‘ Sara Canning, due out in 2013 (and directed by Chuck vet Jeremiah Chechik). Ryan finished the year co-starring in Lifetime’s original holiday movie Holly’s Holiday as the perfect man for Grimm‘s Claire Coffee.

Ryan joined Twitter in February and got the hang of it pretty quickly. He also partnered with new social media site LiveLifeLocal to encourage people to get active and live life to the fullest.

Keep an eye on Ryan’s Twitter account and on Facebook for the latest in this awesome guy’s life and career!
