We could be seeing more familiar faces on NBC next season: hot on the heels of the news that Ryan McPartlin is co-starring in a new pilot for the network, The Hollywood Reporter scoops that Joshua Gomez has also signed on to co-star in a pilot for NBC!
Josh will co-star opposite Stacey McGunnigle and Chris Diamantopoulos in the comedy pilot Ellen More or Less. The series centers on Ellen (McGunnigle), an average-sized woman who begins to reinvent her life after she loses 100 pounds. Josh plays thirtysomething Craig, Ellen’s co-worker, who is described as “too clueless to be mean, neurotic and requires hand-holding”. Tate Ellington is the male lead, Brian, Ellen’s oldest friend and co-worker who may have romantic feelings for her.
J. J. Philbin (New Girl) will pen the script and executive produce alongside Parenthood and About a Boy‘s Jason Katims and Michelle Lee.
THIS IS AWESOME AM SOOOOOO HAPPY FOR Ryan and Joshua can’t wait to see them again 🙂 🙂
