Witches of East End is one of my newest guilty pleasures. The new-ish Lifetime series (season 2 is airing now, after season 1 wrapped in December) is a sometimes cheesy, always entertaining tale of a family of female witches and how they cope with their powers, threats both human and supernatural, and very complicated love lives. I’ve been a fan since the first episode and delighted by the news that Sarah Lancaster has joined the show in a recurring role.
Per TVLine, Sarah will play Raven Moreau, “who arrives in East End as part of a life-long ‘secret mission,’ though she quickly develops a physical attraction to one of the Gardiner boys [neighbors who have been involved with one of the witch sisters and recently discovered that they also have powers; it’s complicated] that could derail her big plan. Raven is described as ‘smart, confident and in control’.”
The report only notes that Sarah will join the show “later this season”, but I’ll be hanging out with the cast of Witches at Comic Con this week, so I’ll pump them for information.
