Chuck‘s final episode aired more than three years ago, and since then the cast has been mighty busy. Let’s check in and see what they’re up to now, shall we?
1. Zachary Levi
Zac’s next role is a guest turn as Abraham Lincoln in Deadbeat on Hulu, starring his podcasting buddy Tyler Labine. But the big news is that Zac is returning to NBC in the highly anticipated miniseries Heroes Reborn, a continuation of Heroes. Information about his character is scarce, but you can get your first look at Zac in the series here.
2. Yvonne Strahovski
Yvonne is partnering up with Josh Schwartz again for his upcoming ABC miniseries The Astronaut Wives Club. She plays Rene Carpenter, who is married to Mercury astronaut Scott Carpenter (played by Wilson Bethel). A mother of four, she’s strong and upfront and enjoys the limelight. She enjoys being center of attention and is the only one of the wives singled out for her own magazine cover. Filming, which took place in New Orleans, wrapped in February. The Astronaut Wives Club will air later this year, possibly as early as this summer.
3. Adam Baldwin
Adam is finishing filming the second season of TNT’s Last Ship, which premieres June 21. The show’s 13 episode second season picks up as Captain Chandler (Eric Dane), XO Slattery (Adam Baldwin) and the rest of the crew are working to disseminate the cure that paleomicrobiologist Dr. Rachel Scott (Rhona Mitra) developed at the end of season one.
4. Scott Bakula
Papa Bartowski is currently headlining CBS’ latest NCIS spin-off, NCIS: New Orleans, as Dwayne Pride. Already renewed for a second season, this should keep Bakula on our screens for several more years. He also recurred on the just-canceled HBO series, Looking.
5. Brandon Routh
Love him or hate him (I know where the majority falls) for his portrayal of Shaw, Routh was a significant part of the Chuck plot. He is now recurring as Ray Palmer, aka The Atom, on the CW’s Arrow, with crossover appearances on The Flash. After successfully launching The Flash as a spinoff of Arrow, the network is currently developing yet another spinoff, tentatively titled The Atom, which will, you guessed it, be lead by Routh.
I know that’s not the entire cast, but they’re the ones onscreen (or soon-to-be onscreen) right now. Stay tuned for news of other projects.
