Adam Baldwin to Return to ‘Castle’

Adam Baldwin is returning to the scene of the crime.

EW reports that Adam will reprise his role as Detective Ethan Slaughter on Castle this season, reuniting once again with his Firefly captain, Nathan Fillion.

Adam first appeared on Castle in April 2012, as a crude cop who Castle partners with while he and Beckett are going through a rough patch. No official word on why Detective Slaughter is back in the mix, but we’ll watch Adam and Nathan together in anything. This episode is slated to air “early” in the season. Stay tuned for details, photos, etc!
