Zachary Levi Developing CIA Thriller with NBC

Zachary Levi is moving into a new phase of his career: executive producer. Deadline announced this week that Zac, through his production company, Middle Man, is working with Universal Television to develop Unidentified, “a high octane thriller with sci-fi elements, which centers on a CIA operative trying to protect his family from an unimaginable secret.”

That’s pretty much all the information we’re going to get about the plot at this point. And yes, I’m trying not to draw the obvious comparisons. On paper it may look like something we’ve seen – and loved – before, but in execution it could be very different.

With Unidentified in development now, it will likely be ready for pilot season next spring and possibly be on NBC’s 2017-2018 schedule. What do you think about Zachary Levi, Executive Producer?
