Nerd HQ, Zachary Levi’s mini convention held during San Diego Comic Con, is showing signs of life! Last held in 2016, Nerd HQ was known for intimate panels with VIP guests, photo ops, gaming demonstrations, and other nerdy activities. Although the Nerd HQ website is still offline as I’m writing this and the social media accounts have been dormant for several years, an affiliated YouTube account is suddenly active again.
Videos from 2016 panels have been uploaded to VivaLaNerdolution over the past few days, and the account’s profile has been updated to read, “Nerd HQ returning soon… stay tuned! We’re going back to our old home: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0JBkXHIa5Co_Jx4Q-2ukTg”
The link takes users to the official Nerd HQ YouTube page, which has not been updated since the announcement that Nerd HQ would not have a presence at SDCC 2017.
A commenter on the “Scott Bakula ATTACKED by a Homeless Man!” video, posted Sunday, May 12, asked if the renewed activity was a sign that Nerd HQ is coming back. Account owner VivaLaNerdolution replied, “stay tuuuunnnneeedddd!”
Are we witnessing the rebirth of Nerd HQ? Will Zachary Levi still be involved or are there new nerds in charge? What do you want to see in the 2024 version of Nerd HQ?
