Zachary Levi introduces the new Nerd HQ

A couple of weeks ago, I posted about the possibility of Nerd HQ’s return. Well, it’s official! Zachary Levi posted a video on the official Nerd HQ YouTube channel announcing the new Nerd HQ.

Nerd HQ is now a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization focused on mental health. According to the newly revamped Nerd HQ website:

Our vision is to develop a vibrant community that provides and engages in entertainment, education, and creates connections with a core focus on mental health.

Our purpose is to foster a supportive community for individuals navigating the complexities of mental health challenges daily through our commitment to curating a community of healthy minds through ways of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Ultimately, providing the means to free therapy, accessible to all!

No plans were announced for a presence at San Diego Comic-Con this year, but it is still early. In years past, Nerd HQ activities weren’t announced until a few weeks before SDCC. What Zach does talk about are plans for the return of Conversations with a Cause, year-round auctions, “nerch” (merch), and more, all while raising awareness for mental health causes.
