Ausiello has a couple of spoilery scoops for us today, one of which I’m sure will bring in a lot of comments:
Question: Nice to see you choose Chuck as your favorite comedy of 2008. Any scoops on upcoming episodes? — Kelsey
Ausiello: Exec producer Josh Schwartz is hesitant to use the words “game changing” to describe this season’s final batch of episodes — even though it’s wholly appropriate. “Everyone uses that term,” he harrumphs. “Let’s call it show changing. Or Chuck changing…Let’s just say someone is going to start figuring out the truth in Chuck’s world.” Schwartz adds that he’s cramming “three seasons worth of stories into the next 10 episodes,” in part because there’s no guarantee the show will see a third season. (Note to NBC: The forecast calls for a s–tstorm in the event Chuck is axed.) “We’re leaving nothing on the table,” he says. “We’re taking nothing for granted. We’re going for it.” To wit, did you see who they got to play Chuck’s dad?!Question: Anything new on Chuck? — Laura
Ausiello: This just in: Jordana Brewster’s returning as Chuck’s ex Jill in the season finale!
Sounds awesome i can’t wait. Im not too excited for jill to come back though.
I hope NBC wont cancel this show…otherwise as has been said the s_tstorm will doom them (hopefully)
As I mentioned on 2.18, Chuck finally used a gun. I hope that Chuck becomnes a full field agent and saves Sarahs’ life and to do it she sees Chuck kicking byrces’ backside to do it!!!!!!! The situation would be great payback for all Chuck was put through by this pest.
Who is Orion going to be? After watching Chuck versus the lethal weapon I came up the conclusion that Chuck’s Dad might be Orion. During Chuck’s conversation with Perseus he said It was all Orion’s idea, it was his vision, he hand picked the team, he drove the research until he realized???? then Perseus gets killed. I learned on the internet that Chuck’s dad is going to be reclusive and live in a trailor park and claim that Chevy Chase’s character stole his research. This is what I am basing my comment on.
It is going to be very interesting right up to the end of the season.
What do the rest of the fans think???
NBC better not cancel Chuck, it is one of the good shows that is still on TV. I never understood why they cancel such great shows and put on shows that are terrible. I could understand if a show needed to end because of the story lines becoming the same week after week, but this show is just getting good. My advise would be to save the good shows that actually have a plot and get rid of all the shows that are pointless and are the same as others.
Now with season 2 in the books we can look forward to season 3 The final episode of season 2 “The Ring” was over hyped and missed the boat. Too many important issues were left hanging and at the time it was not known if there would be a season 3. The best episode of season 2 was “The Colonel” lots of adventure with Sarah and Chuck facing it together as a team (no angst) to speak of-being right before the Ring may have caused the Ring to be a little less than anticipated. Maybe F&S will be able to bail out the show with some great writing directed at what the audience wants–hopefully there will be a season 4, but if that is not in the cards I hope the season 3 final episodes rewards all the loyal supporters with a great uplifting conclusion.
