Mel, are you saying to me that Chuck vs Phase Three, aka the awesomeness of Sarah the giant blonde she-male, may be displaced as my #1 all time favorite episode??
I’m not saying that (because I haven’t seen 5.08), but Chris Fedak is!
I enjoyed the podcast as usual. I would like to point out that I think the discussion comparing Morgan to early Chuck misses a key point. In S1 and S2, Chuck only had Intersect 1.0. He didn’t have any fighting skills. Of course he was scarred.
As soon as Chuck downloaded 2.0, he got much more aggressive, went directly into spy training, and left Sarah standing on a train platform to become a spy. This is an aside, but I’ll never forgive them for that. the show has never been the same for me since that moment.
Anyway, I would argue that Morgan is handling the intersect better than Chuck did. Chuck had to spend most of S3 learning to control it.
I also think that folks are misreading the complaining about the storyline. It’s not that someone else getting the intersect and it driving them crazy is not a good story (although it’s sort of been done). It’s that (for me anyway) it draws to much emphasis to the part of the show (the bromance) that I care the least about. I would have preferred that this happen to Ellie.
You’re right, Bill, Chuck had a different set of skills in seasons 1 and 2. Morgan had to learn to handle a lot more in the first go-round than Chuck did, and he did a pretty decent job. Until, you know, the whole Trojan virus mental takeover thing.
Saying at Morgan should wait in the car like chuck did.. . . . .
Morgon has 2.0 he know kung fu . he could take for him self if he didnt go crazy
